   Really awful and unsanitary. Sandwich had a bug on it from not washing lettuce well enough that I almost ate, there was a hair inside too had to throw it away. On top of that it was made with a" chicken" topper with extra bacon and cheese inside, not specified to customer if they are unable to eat ham this would be a disaster. The butter chicken pie is sweet and pastry stale with weird smell had to throw it away after trying to eat 3/4 drowned in hot sauce. Would not recommend the food, but staff is nice enough.

   Wish I hadn't ignored the 3.7 rating before buying a pie. 95% gravy, one small piece of steak that was visibly dry, pie was on the lukewarm side of hot, but worst of all it had a chemical smell and was absolutely disgusting. I'm not one to throw away leftovers but I definitely did not finish and won't be back.

   One of the worst steak and cheese pies I've ever had, pie was broken in the bag, pastry was like bread, the inside of the pie was mostly gravy, steak was very overcooked and the cheese was almost nowhere to be seen. A big ben pie would've been better...

   I have been going to this place time to time for many years, and recently I noticed that their pies are not in a good condition. I bought chicken and vegetable pie and the pie was off. I noticed that the bottom part of the pie and the paper bag around that bottom area was very watery which suggests that its not a freshly prepared pie… probably they knew they were selling the old pie but didn’t even say a word, but I noticed that as I was picking up the pie they were sort of eyeing me out… As I come to think of it now, it’s an indication that they knew that the pie was old… So disappointing.

   The name says Bakery but not much freshly baked goods available. Most of the counter food was wrapped in cling film. The sandwiches had sweated so the bread was damp - perhaps because it was a Saturday? Being in East Tamaki they would get a lot of trade from the surrounding factories. Coffee was a pleasant surprise and there was a barista training certificate on display.
