   I came Saturday morning around 10am. Mixed experience, and unfortunately the bad outweighed the good. The coffee itself was good, the young lady who made it did a great job and was also very kind. The service from the older man at the counter was noticeably unfriendly. There was no greeting and it felt as if I was an inconvenience. It’s very sad that one staff member clearly puts in effort while others bring down the experience. Good coffee doesn’t make up for the poor service!! I won’t be in hurry coming back

   Matcha is watery and not even a full glass despite the amount of ice used. Food was ok, price and portion/taste was so so.

   I visited Columbus Café at Sylvia Park on Labour Day (27.10.2025) and had such a lovely experience. The gentleman who served me was very polite, friendly, and attentive — it really made my visit enjoyable. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was excellent. Thank you for the great coffee and warm hospitality!

   The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the service is fast without feeling rushed. The coffee is always on point — rich, smooth, and served at just the right temperature. Their cabinet food is fresh and the menu options are delicious. A great local spot that never disappoints.

   The pancakes I ordered were overcooked (tasted like bread) and not sweet at all. The whipped cream tasted like the one you buy from Pak'n'Save (probably actually was) and the service from the white european woman with the Czech Republic flag on her shirt was terrible? She seemed to be partially deaf. I could have literally cooked up a better meal at home considering how expensive the dish was and how small the portions were. Will def not return.

   I was pleasantly surprised. Haven't been to Columbus in a while and their coffee was really nice! I prefer it to their big competitor to be honest. Ordered a BLAT sandwich and it was yum, can't complain. It's location is a bit far away from the busyness of the mall, which is actually why we went there. There wasn't a lot of cabinet choices for my vege friend though.

   Ordered chicken waffles today, was a literal schnitzel chicken pretty much on 1 waffle, expected a bit more for the price I paid, also tasted and felt very much like a toaster waffle. Was very busy but it took 30 mins for my food to come out meanwhile my friends had finished their food already so I was lagging behind. Have been before and was much better service and food, won't be coming back now.

   We had a small wedding here! Worked very well for a cozy wedding with a few close friends and family. The team were super helpful hosts and everything went really smoothly. Thanks for the cosy atmosphere, the food and the memories ❤️

   I am actually very shock by how dirty the baby high chair was, I have never seen the paper towel so dirty after wiping down just the high chair table with my own disinfectant whenever I go out with my toddler, the paper towel in the photo was the dirt after the second wipe… We went early in the morning, and I am pretty sure no one has use that high chair before us, which looks like it was never properly wipe down for a long time. The dough in the bacon and egg pie is undercook as per photo, my flat white and croissant is mediocre. My husband does find his egg omelette and hot chocolate decent. Service is minimal and silent even though the cafe was not busy. I would not return.
