   I had a very disappointing experience today when I came to this place with my family. I ordered at 6:50pm and i got served at 7:20pm. The wait would have been worth if the food was served properly. I was waiting with my family for last 30 minutes and they served the food in take away container, no plates whatsoever. If you want to run the place as takeaway, then remove the tables. My son have to eat in the plastic container's lid as we only ordered two portions. Shame....

   Thank you Sam's Kebab for serving up some incredibly delicious cheeseburgers. The burgers were huge with fresh salad, and bursting with flavor. I opted for a combination of mayo, chilli sauce, and tomato sauce which added an extra level of deliciousness. For an additional $6, you can upgrade to a combo that includes their crispy fries seasoned with chicken salt and a refreshing cold drink. I would give this meal a perfect 10/10 rating.

   We went on a Saturday night, it wasn't too busy but it took ages to get served and acknowledged. The meals took quite a while to come out to us too. Not alot of seating inside. The man who served us was very lovely though. We got a kebab, which was very delicious.

   We are locals here, so pretty sad to be writing this review. Were told they could not make a kebab wrap (? as a kebab place that is pretty lame) and then was told we could do a kebab on rice instead... they charged us $21 which is much more than the kebab wrap itself. We have also waited over 45 minutes for a simple kebab order multiple times... just not good enough for the price you pay here.

   Nice place. Lots of potential but still finding its feet. Starting with the good stuff. Food is tasty (not the best but as the only afghan place in SouthEast Auckland, it's good for day to day), portions are good, staff are very friendly, typical Afghan hospitality, big smiles, genuine kindness. In saying that, its a new place and it's obvious. Some small mistakes in the order, and the kitchen staff were running around looking lost as soon as it got a little busy. Menu not properly showing on Google and with very few photos. Biggest disappointing thing for me was the lack of identity. Guys, you're an afghan restaurant, get rid of the burgers, satay chicken stuff and anything that isn't traditional afghan. Afghan food is amazing and has enough variety that you don't need to do the menu fillers.

   This place under the old management used to be good. Purchased the lamb on rice but portion of lamb is way too less. Even they charged 75c each for these two small containers. I believe every kabab shop give meat according to weight not like throw it on rice the way they want.
