   We had a poor experience due to communication issues with the asian staff at the counter. The staff member did not understand English, and when we asked about ingredients, she only repeated the price ($29.99) without answering our questions. Please consider having experienced staff who can communicate effectively and interact with customers in a friendly manner.

   Its nice place to seat and have something to eat and drink if you so choose. I went on a Saturday morning at about 10 am and it was relatively busy, but there was still ample seating on the outside terrace area. I ordered a large iced caramel latte and it was okay. The service was outstanding, friendly and professional.

   Couldn't resist and had to try their lobster roll. It was not too bad, coffee was as expected for coffee clubs. Unlike other coffee clubs we were served by a four and grumpy woman. I asked if there was a surcharge when it came time to pay. The reply........I think so........I asked again, yes or no and she tersely said.......I think so. What's that about??? I gave up, she must have been having a bad day.

   I landed in Aotearoa this morning. My granddaughters and I went to breakfast at the Manukau Coffee Club. We enjoyed our meals very much and the service was great.

   Coffee clubs are generally a good place to stop in. Manukau Mall. Staff were friendly and service was pretty quick for a Sunday morning. Last time we called in . We were told 20 minutes after an hour we left... We thought we would give it another try.. as said earlier. Friendly staff. And pretty quick service. But unfortunately The food was below par. My partner ordered Crumbed Fish and chips. The plate was presented ok. But the quality of the fish was second rate. Well over cooked on one piece and the other smelt old. With prices where they are today. Some decent food should be being served and cooked properly. We won't come back to this Coffee Club.

   My family and I have been visiting Coffee Club at Manukau for many years now. We often have lunch at the St Luke's branch, only because their food is amazing. Although the Manukau branch as great staff, good customer service and coffee, their food could be better. There is such a difference in the way their menu is prepared and served from one branch to another. I personally think this should be looked at as at the end of the day you are representing Coffee Club and there should be a certain level of consistency. I ordered the Southern fried chicken ciabatta, the portion of chicken was so small, lots of coating, we were eating mostly bread. It was also quite dry, not enough sauce.The Calamari dish had such small portions of calamari and the salad, well let's just say there was so little that you might as well remove it from the plate. No tomatoes either. The seafood platter was good and shrimp popcorn tacos a must try, nicely prepared. When you are visiting different locations of the same franchise, customers not only expect good service but consistency in providing excellent food.
