I've e joyed this place along with my friends familly and work colleagues for years now. Great food and deals e.g coffee toasted sand and a coffee combo ...discounted. nice dinning area.
I had extremely bad experience dining at this cafe!. Spinach feta frittata pastry was not cooked at all! Returned n asked for ham cheese n tomatoes croissant but was replace with tomato toasties. You should not even have this cafe when basic foods are not catered accordingly. Its just a waste of my hard earned money! Manukau mall branch!
I’ve visited many Muffin Break stores and usually love their coffee, but my experience at the Manukau Westfield location was very disappointing. I ordered a coffee with plant-based milk and some muffins to take away. The muffins were served warm without asking, even though I clearly said they were for takeaway they seemed old, tasted bad, and were dry a few hours later. The coffee also didn’t taste good, and both made me feel unwell. The person who served me seemed uninterested and provided poor customer service. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this location and won’t be returning.
the muffin was so bad oh my goodness. this is the banana chocolate chip muffin and it taste like nothing. left a weird starchy feel in my mouth after as well.
I ordered kiwi veg sandwich and flat white from manukau Westfield mall. Sandwich was not fresh at all. Inside no butter or any sauce, it was just lattice with one slice on tomato, red onions and cheese slice in dry bread. So disappointed to see that specifically when you change almost $9 for that dry pathetic sandwich. Not happy at all. Would not recommend this place.
Price OK, food a bit messy. Paninis very soft and thick and couldn't be cut through. Coffee was nice but no teaspoon or sugar provided. Had to ask for sugar which she brought but nothing to stir it with. Had to go up and find some very thin stirrer sticks from counter which was all they had.
APRIL 2023 Muffin Break are a cafe of choice when we are out shopping. The service was great the muffins were very nice, with the coffees arriving at our table in a reasonable time. Will certainly be back
