Terrible, 3 tables in store and every one of them had to get up to get their own cutlery, serviettes etc. ZERO service and state croissant. Terrible, no wonder there was only 3 tables at lunchtime.
The place was clean and food was great as well. Eggs bene was freshly cooked with spinach and mushrooms just the way I like it. The front of house person did seem a unfriendly at first but she made really good coffee.
New owners have certainly cleaned up the store. Coffee is good with a complimentary bikkie. But cabinet food could do with a review and costly. And the fact they allow tables full of smoking men...up to 15 at times to sit outside and smoke for hours is disgusting. Have to enter the store in a plume of filthy cigarette smoke, in summer when doors open smoke wafts in and butts are left scattered all over footpath.
Great cup of coffee and spotless bathroom - thank you ladies will be back.
Horrible quality food. The pies are disgusting. Not what they were used to be like a long time ago when they were only 3 bucks. It was full of gravy, the worst pie I’ve ever eaten. Had to throw it away. The cream bun is not nice either and doesn’t remind you of the classic cream bun taste either. Bun was really hard. I feel like I’ve been robbed. Save your money and just go to coffee club next door.
Asked for 2 bacon and eggs and big breakfast They brought out 2 plates of eggs and barely toasted (white) toast I said where’s the bacon they said hang on let me check Went out back brought out big breakfast that looked fine 2-3 mins later bring back 2 plates with soggy bacon and cold eggs and white toast I asked for my money back. Is it new owners? Because the standard has dropped.
Best location, wide range of cabinet food in affordable prices. Coffee is also good. Efficient and helpful staff. Hollywood bakeries have been performing very good specially after covid, when every place raised their prices.
Absolute catastrophic failure. Came in with a group of friends, I ordered Eggs Benedict, I thought what is this? a breakfast for ants? it was so small and not worth the money spent. First friend orders a big breakfast, I have never seen eggs been ruined before. They were dry, sickening and terrible eggs. Friend next to me ordered french toast, they put berries on it that was still frozen, My other friend orders hotcakes, he gets told after they bring out the food saying they have none and replaced it with french toast. Another friend ordered food which took a significant more time compared to everyone else who had eaten what they could of their terrible meals. Today has been quite possibly one of the worst eating experiences for my self and my friends. I really expected better.
