   Waited over 30 minutes for our meals. Two were just cabinet items so a simple heat and eat Food was okay however once it arrived Staff lovely but there was no sense of haste or checking up to see what we were waiting on which for a small cafe id kinda expect to be a minimum at a service standpoint. Cafe is cozy and lots of seating, may be a nice spot for just a coffee

   Creme brulee is so good as a coffee. Staff are amazing and friendly. The panini's are nice and the athmosphere is pretty chill for a cafe in a middle of a complex. Will recommend to come here.

   I have been coming here for years and man I absolutely love this cafe it’s so underrated the customer service is on they have made me feel like family. The food is worth the money and they do solid coffees and protein shakes man love this place. Thank you from the mum that tries to escape her kids for an hour haha!

   I paid $9.60 for a coffee at Gloria Jeans Takanini for a XL vanilla latte and it was the worst tasting coffee I’ve ever had. Very disappointed with both the quality and value.

   As a tourist passing through, my partner and I made a quick stop at Gloria Jean's Southgate on our way to Hamilton. I had a takeaway salmon quiche and enjoyed some freshly baked muffins on-site. The coffee was exceptional—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our food arrived promptly, which we really appreciated as we were quite hungry. Overall, it was a delightful stop with great food, excellent coffee, and warm hospitality.

   Nice food, had to wait for several minutes to be served at counter, even to be noticed. Had to ask if anyone was serving, noted 3 people staring at me from kitchen, not responding and a guy making coffee with his back to me, finally said be with you shortly....so I waited, but the food was nice.

   I bought me peaches and cream cheese muffin and it is delicious.. perfect taste and colour .. I could eat 5 of those .. so good … very good service .. very helpful … I highly recommend it .. best cafe ever in Auckland …

   After reading all the reviews, I hope and encourage the management to take a look and investigate some of the complaints. When customers take time to review, it should be taken in seriously and I am sure many of their comments are not mere petty complaints. I have only one issue with the restaurant. Please make it clear the cclosing time. We were turned away (not nicely) at 3:10pm even though the closing time on the door stated 4 pm. I think it is not too much to put up a sign explaining that the closing time has changed since the pandemic. My review will changed immediately when there are some changes done.
