We're giving two stars for the asian friendly staff with a great smile that welcomed us in this afternoon. For the food, we would rate it 1/5. I ordered the Egg ben with smoked salmon and my boyfriend the chicken burger. My boyfriend only enjoyed the chips as the chicken in the burger only seem to have mostly skin with almost no meat. My egg ben only had 5 key ingredients which was the sourdough, poached egg, spinach, smoked salmon and the hollandaise. All I could taste was the hollaindaise and barely the egg and the salmon. Egg ben has always been my go to order at cafes and by far this was a very forgettable egg ben. Honestly disappointing :( considering the price.

Worth a visit, the farm is beautiful and the vast fields of lavenders are well maintained, lush and fragrant. Inside and outdoor playground for toddler aged kids and above. Entire facility is clean and tidy. Maybe the new owners can incorporate a new menu, such as lavender infused desserts/cakes/pastries, a lavender inspired high tea?

We were very excited to visit the farm, but found it closed today (21st Nov 2025), even though it is listed as open on Google Maps. We drove more than 2 hours, so it was quite disappointing. Iām writing this to let everyone know to please call ahead before you travel there. We will visit on another day.

Visited during summer & excellent experience! The best part was picking our own bag of lavender to take home - the more you cut, the more you can fill your brown paper bag. It was fun walking around the fields & snipping away. The farm also makes lavender ice cream & it was delicious. Subtle lavender taste and not overly sweet. You can also make your picked lavender into oil if you want. Great experience overall, highly recommend!

We recently celebrated our fathers 90th birthday at the Lavender Cafe, Karaka. We hired out the whole function area at the back of the cafe and can not thank the staff enough for their wonderful service throughout the whole process. We all travelled from overseas to be at the event and Di the manager was so easy to deal with via phone calls and email to help arrange the event and make sure everything was as we planned. We had a buffet style lunch which exceeded our expectations and was delicious. Zelda was exceptionally helpful on the day, co-ordinating it all and serving the drinks etc. Thank you Di and all your staff for such a wonderful event. This is a fabulous venue for a large group with a lot of children and worked really well with the indoor and outdoor play park areas. We highly recommend.

Seasons over but just came by to check out the place. Cozy space and approachable staff. Good food and coffee. Had the lamb (must try!) And butter chicken (was ok).

Cafe: Spacious place good for family with kids. Full with lavender scene that makes you like a flower. Coffee: Worst coffee that I have tasted. Burnt taste with flat white and its due to coffee machine not being cleaned properly. Tasted like cigarette butt. Food: Ordered chicken burger. Price was over the top for the quality. Used cheap fries and one of them was freezing cold. Have complained about it but no apology. They took the plate back and brought it back but seemed like it was just microwaved and the cold one was thrown away. Overall: If you're here for a different cafe experience, it's OK for a visit but if you're mainly after good food and coffee, this is not the place. 2 meals with 2 flat whites costs $65 and it was not worth it. Lavender farm was closed so couldn't review about it so will be back when it's open and update the review

First time coming here. The lavender viewing and walking was really fun. Entry fee was $15 per adult which includes cutting of lavender was definitely worth it. There is a cafe as well as a food truck thing more further away near the lavender field. The lavender ice cream was just ok. The ice cream was quite watery and melts easily and the lavender flavour is also more of a novelty than good taste. So I would suggest not too high expectation on the ice cream. Overall, for activity was excellent.

Awesome place to spend with family. Ticket is $15 per person for the lavender field. You cut your own lavender then give them to the staff to get a sticker before bringing lavender home. There is a restaurant which is always busy. The food and coffee were nice. The Lavender ice cream was average with $6/ ice cream. On site parking. Must bring your hat & camera to get nice photos!
