    I have been coming to Irene’s for more than 10 years now and can highly recommend her to anyone. Even when I live in another city, I will always make sure to come back to Auckland to see her as she is so good at her job. Always an enjoyable experience and walk out feeling like a million bucks!

    Awful experience with Irene. She poked my eardrum 2 years ago and I sm still recovering. Had to go to multiple doctors due to the ear pain and ear infection I got, after she injured my ear. My doctor told me that I got a bulging eardrum after she poked my ear. Also, she is very reckless when cutting my hair. I noticed that when she was cutting my hair, the scissors were very close to my eye. She didn't even seem to notice. She instantly blamed me for not telling her sooner that she poked my ear and eas victim blaming me and was incredibly rude.

    It says open online and when we arrived, it was closed. The sign says open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 6pm. It's a Saturday and I arrived at around 2.30pm but the shop is closed. When I called, somebody came out from the back of the shop only to say that they have decided to close early today. I don't know about how good the hair stylist is but the first experience is awful.

    This is one of the best haircuts I have had. The finished cut is gorgeous and I love it. I showed Irene a photo and she made it really work for my face. Usually my haircuts take over 1 hour but Irene managed in 45 mins with amazing results. she is really skilled. Irene is also very knowledgeable about her trade and gave me some great tips for my usually uncontrollable naturally wavy hair (which is very frustrating for an asian!). can not recommend her highly enough.
