The quality of hair-dressing services I receive at Alta Moda in Takapuna is simply the best in Auckland. Alfonso is an absolute Master at his trade and I will keep going to him. Do yourself a favour and let this European gentleman give you the best haircut you will ever have.
Alfonso is a true maestro. I have been to a lot of top London-based salons as well as other Takapuna-based salons and he is by far superior. Would recommend him to anyone.
Kia ora, absolutely gutted about my experience here, really had high expectations for this place as to begin with, the man assured me he knew what he was doing. I asked for my roots to be done blonde to match the ends of my hair. Came out of the 'salon' with my roots dyed orange (level 7 (with orange pigment) and my hair cut unevenly. Man still made me pay even though I said I wasn't happy at all. He offered to fix it in a couple of days but I was not comfortable with him touching my hair again. I called them up later and he was very rude and unprofessional- claiming it was my fault HE dyed my hair orange. I obviously chose blonde so I am unsure to why I am being blamed for choosing 'orange'. After "40 years of experience" I would've thought a better job would have been done plus a much better level of professionalism. Getting my hair fixed now by a proper hairdresser and she has claimed that my scalp is chemically burnt from all the bleach. As her hair porosity was terrible. Plus my head hurts! So cheers for that! Later on, got a text refunding me 50% back of my money however, this doesn't fix the damage nor the unprofessionalism shown during the phone call. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone if dying your hair blonde.
Thankyou Alphonso, who cut and styled two wigs for me. Very welcoming and friendly who has a lifetime of experience that means his cutting and styling is wonderful. Thoroughly recommend him to anyone needing a wig cut or styled.
