   Went to go get my nails done with my sister at new lynn deluxe nail and spa, she was just getting her acrylics removed. They removed her acrylics with a tip and continued to flick them off. While flicking them off they ripped off her real nail leaving them bloody and broken. The lady laughed as she apologised. She then continued to put acetone on the cuts after. How could someone be so bad at doing nails. Never coming back

   Second time I’ve been to Glenfield Deluxe Nail and Spa and is already my favourite place to get my nails done The staff are super friendly, and really do an amazing job at giving you the design that you want, they’re very talented! Will definitely be making this my regular place to get my nails done!

   Terrible experience, had previously gotten SNS on my nails and one had broken quite short. I showed this to the nail technician and asked her to be gentle as the nail was still attached to my skin, she began filing the top before deciding to rip off my broken nail, and got out an acrylic tip to rip the rest of my nails. She broke three other nails because of this method - these nails were healthy and strong and should have stayed intact if she had used the proper removal method. She was aware it was causing discomfort using this method and I made a comment that I was used to them being soaked off however she continued with this method before trying to charge $20 for this removal! Never going back here. If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would.

   Love going to New Lynn, every time I go I see the owner & always have something new in my nails with SNS I’ve seen online & today she did not disappoint! Love my nails & never disappointed

   i went to the one in new lynn to get a set of acrylics for my birthday, little did i know the lack of experience this last had. i walked in showing a photo on my phone and simply asked if they could do it (they said yes) so i sat down. i asked for almond shape, they said “oh no no we can only do square” so i agreed and got square. then halfway through my nails getting painted the lady told me it would be an additional $11 and that the original lady who told me the costs didn’t know what she was doing. not to mention there had been two woman standing over me whilst the third was doing my nails for over roughly 1 hour (it was a bit intimidating). after they were done, my french tips were all painted incorrectly & look like a child had painted them, the tips were too big that were fitted for my nails & they simply look clumpy . 1/5 would never go back. don’t waste your money.

   Went there in spite of the bad reviews. Bad idea! Wanted to treat my 6 year old with a nail paint while I had gel done. They just sat her down, grabbed her hand, and slapped polish on, maybe 2min if that, no care taken. My gel didn't even last a week and she ripped my skin when filing, chatted away in their language and didn't even say a word to me, only made a snide remark because I cut my nails short (I'm in Healthcare so can't have long nails). Definitely won't go again.

   The first time I went here and got acrylics done, they turned out super good and I thought it was really good value, however the second time I went in for acrylics, they were awful.. asked for a specific shape and left with no tips that were matching.. The techs need customer service training asap because the whole entire room is just cold and unwelcoming, they dont speak a single word to you apart from when youre paying until your set is done. shame after a good first impression…….

   Had the worst experience ever at the Glenfield salon! The woman who did SNS on my nails was so rude, rough and unprofessional. - She rushed through the process, cut me multiple times, kept pulling on my hands and was constantly talking to her colleague in another language and didn’t speak a word to me. - I asked for a certain colour, she just grabbed a completely different one and by the time she finished and I realised it was too late. - Didn’t even ask me to wash my hands before she did the top coat and my hands were covered in powder and chemicals, this is standard practice??? - She was too busy talking to her colleague that she only filed down 1 of my hands! - She made the SNS SO thick they look so fake and horrible - I asked her to redo my thumb nail because she didn’t put the SNS down low enough and they looked about 2 weeks grown out, she got so offended and rude to me and started talking about me on another language to her colleagues and laughing. To top it off, when she attempted to “fix” my nail, she left powder and chemicals all over my finger and didn’t try to get it off, I’ve spend the last few hours trying to get it off myself! Oh and the woman who did shellac on my toes only did a top coat on one of my feet!!! Unbelievable, it seems all the staff here don’t know what they’re doing. Honestly the most disgusting service. Absolute waste of $120, I had originally booked in at Professionail but saw that this place had NO customers, so I thought I would support a small business. Big mistake! There’s a reason this place is quiet. I am so upset because I got my nails done for my engagement party and they look terrible, I will never come here again!
