   Always a nice and fresh place to visit in the morning café. However, the service today was a bit disappointing. Even though there were only us and another older couple thinking about what to order, one of the staff suddenly started swearing while talking to another barista — right in front of our 4-year-old and other customers. The girl who took our order also seemed rude and quite impatient. Such a beautiful sunny morning, but the experience didn’t really match the lovely garden view.

   High Tea, table setting was lovely, staff were fabulous, the food was nice except the mini quiche were just overcooked scrambled eggs baked in tiny molds, no pastry just egg. No one liked their hot chocolates but I loved my coffees. No lamingtons as per their menu but Sammies, tarts & everything else were nice, especially the sammies. $60 pp included garden entry.

   Awesome high tea. Great deal. Yummy food. I’d suggest more decor in the barn room would break the wooden look. Entry into the beautiful eden gardens is a bonus!

   Meals taste like cheap supermarket microwavables, coffee is decent though and staff very friendly. Outdoor seats by the trees on a sunny day makes for a great atmosphere. Avoid the stone ground seating area, there's a lot of bugs that likes to interrupt your meal.

   Cafe attached to Mt Eden Gardens. Indoor and outdoor seating, Great service from Lady who was on duty Friday 20th October around midday. Food and coffee ☕️ were good. Cold drinks available. Being located in Eden Gardens it has a restful peaceful atmosphere. Can order from a menu. Will definitely Visit again.

   Really cute place for a relax morning coffee and walk. Service and atmosphere are professional and aimable. I will not order coffee with oat milk cuz they choose a brand tht I don't like. The cabinet was full with savoury and sweet treats. The walk in the garden is sinuous and steep at times, there are a lot of benches for a stop or a gaze around. It was a lovely experience. Thank you to everyone (volunteers and staff).

   Nice place to meet up or relax. It s situated in a garden so pretty relax. I didnt try much food. I had only a passion fruit&coconut cake. I m not familiar with the taste but coffee is very nice.

   High tea not quite what we'd hoped for. I was spoiling my sister and her husband-to-be to a treat meal in Auckland, but not being from Auckland Eden Gardens seemed an ideal spot. We appreciated the setting, the service and the look of the other meals rolling out around us but we were all very disappointed by the cost of the high tea relative to what was served. We could have had 2 amazing meals and drinks each for the same price. Upon previous experiences at high teas, we'd had option of sampling numerous teas which unfortunately was not the case here. They willingly accommodated our early arrival request and the lady at reception was incredibly helpful, I just so wish we got better value for money. Too much sweet and the savoury was terribly disappointing and certainly not enough.

   The garden was lovely. We booked in for high tea. However the cafe ambience was underwhelming. The decor needs updating. The tea options were great. However the food was disappointing. Savory options were good but the sweet options were dry and need attention.

   Took some friends for a high tea at Eden Gardens and we had such a lovely afternoon. Beautiful high tea and walk in the gardens. Just allow plenty of time!
