I have followed Chris through numerous salons over nearly a decade because he is simply the best in the biz. Chris has taken me through a rainbow of colours, from dark brown to blonde (and back) more times than I could count and cut my hair to all different lengths and every time I leave absolutely chuffed! Chris is the only person I trust to cut/bleach/colour my hair, he always finds a realistic approach to achieve my crazy hair goals and ensures I am always happy with the final product. He is a genuine guy with great jokes and banter who manages to makes you feel at home as soon as you walk into the salon. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
Although Chris may not deem himself an artist anymore, he was exceptionally good at seeing a style within the marble that was my mass of curly hair and, once dried, was precisely what I wanted. Chris makes the entire experience extremely comfortable, with no motive of up-selling products you don't actually need or forcing a conversation you don't feel up to participating in (although he’s very easy and open to talk to). With a handshake out the door, Chris’ many years of cutting hair of and talking with, like the name suggests, common people, his only intention to be one of giving a damn good haircut.
Absolutely blown away by the haircut I had with Chris. Typical bloke, I didn't really know how to look after my long curly hair, it was dry and frizzy and as a result I didn't wear it down often. After my initial consultation with Chris I was confident I'd found the right man for the job! When you leave the salon looking like Jon Snow you know this chap has some skills. An absolute pleasure to have had a session with Chris and I will be 100% returning. I would give this man 6 stars if I could.
Excellent service; Chris is an amazing person this is the best haircut I've had in Auckland. The space is comfortable and you get enough time and attention to discuss what you want what works and what doesn't work and he also helped me with the techniques and what to do with my hair going forward and he's funny which is always a plus. Perfect for introverts ! Will definitely be coming back again.
