Nice for a walk around especially with children and friends, don’t forget to bring your own mat or picnic chairs and stuff!

Like the playground mainly. The grass can be boggy and takes a while to clear after it's rained.

Quiet little reserve overlooking SH1. Playground has one climbing frame with walkway, three sides and monkey bars - two swings as well.

Stafford Park is home to numerous yellow pohutukawa. They are best from late October to mid November. If you're only familiar with red pohutukawa this is an easy location to see the lesser known yellow ones.
