I usually use the self-practise room as I do classes closer to my area, however I felt unwelcome by someone who I assume is an instructor as she is there often. For context there are posters on the walls instructing students that the shoes are for personal use only. I had used her personal yoga mat and I apologised and said I was sorry. I was told before that equipment was available for use crash mats, weights, stretching blocks, etc. I assumed this fell under "equipment" and there were no posters advising otherwise. I was told again after apologising not to use the mat which I found very condescending along with being told that I couldn't use the shoes; I can read, I am well aware I cannot use the shoes and have never used any shoes aside from my own. I may have just taken it personally but I do find this offensive, out of respect of the students I would never use their shoes, as well as for hygiene purposes I would hope that no one would thinks I'm just trying on sweaty pole shoes!? I understand one experience doesn't define a business but thought I would provide some feed back. Overall the facility is nice, the glass door separating the self-practise room from the main room is frosted over for privacy. There's a lot of space in the room to move and some equipment to use. I do more "flow" rather than tricks, I find my heels don't really glide along the wooden floors too well and the floor is almost sticky? The room gets quite hot in the Summertime but there is a window and a fan I assume is available to use - there are no posters telling me otherwise. Maybe a poster for the mat for any newcomers would be helpful.

So kind, so patient for beginners. An amazing, clean studio. A non-judgmental and inclusive place. My pole journey has begun off on the right foot! Thanks Jaymie for making me feel so comfortable when I couldn't handle the basic spins yet, and thanks for the workout which I could feel the next day! Lol. So much better than any gym!

Dani's lesson is amazing. She is really patient and great explaining the movements, and one of the most important things for me: she is really encouraging. Love it!!

Fun, friendly. I'm really self conscious but the instructors and people are really nice.
