   Studio Five is absolutely amazing and completely rescued my hair! I arrived with a diabolical mess of over-bleached, dry hair, and they provided expert guidance on the perfect style, color, and product regimen specifically for my needs. They are masters of their craft—I've seen them achieve flawless results on every client, from vibrant blondes to rich brunettes and striking raven-haired looks. Without exception, everyone leaves looking like they are having the best hair day of their lives. Highly, highly recommend this salon!

   Vladimir and his team are welcoming and highly skilled. A friendly, small, efficient salon. Very good at keeping to schedule. Owner operated so great attention to detail. Vladamir trained at Servilles and is excellent at both cut and colour. The fact that clients still visit when they leave Auckland is a testament to the confidence he engender- even from Christchurch!

   I recently visited Studio Five for a perm and was deeply disappointed with the experience. Upon arrival, I was quickly seated and shown to a stylist who asked for a reference picture, which I provided of my previous perms and one from the Internet. However, there was no in-depth consultation about my hair history or condition, which I found concerning. As the perming process began, I noticed the stylist’s technique seemed off. The rods were placed loosely, and when I questioned the method, the stylist said everyone does it differently and brushed me off. At one point, a more experienced stylist corrected him, but the initial stylist appeared uninterested and looking outside/elsewhere. Throughout the process, there were issues with the chemical application, which dripped onto my skin and and the protective cotton on hairline wasn’t properly secured. After 4 hours it was time to style my hair, the result was far from what I had expected. My hair was uneven, partly straight and frizzy. The stylist admitted it didn’t turn out like the picture and offered no real solution, just suggesting I might return in two weeks with no confirmed booking and no after care recommendations on what I could do in the interim. The service was unprofessional, and the head stylist didn’t intervene or offer guidance when it was clear the service wasn’t up to standard. The overall experience felt as though I was an inconvenience and therefor staff seeming careless. I left feeling unsatisfied, and despite my concerns, the salon staff seemed uninterested in fixing the issue. Given the lack of expertise and customer care, I would strongly advise against visiting Studio Five if you're looking for quality and professional service and feel like a valued customer.    Had an amazing experience at studio 5 with Ciara. Not only is she incredibly talented at colouring, cutting, and styling, she's also personable, warm, and an absolute pleasure to talk to; our conversation quickly felt like I was talking to a close personal friend. The entire experience was friendly yet professional, and I walked out with the best looking hair I've had in my life. If you're looking for professional hair cutting, styling or colouring with fantastic customer service, I can't recommend anyone more than Ciara at Studio 5
