Loved everything about this place! The food was SOO good, we finished every last bit (photos attached for reference). The vibes in this restaurant is also nice, we will definitely come back if we’re in Auckland! Terima kasih!! Enak sekali :)

We had Mie Goreng, Sate Ayam, Nasi Goreng, Orek Tempe, and Beef Rendang and they were all good and packed with flavor. My fave would be the Beef Rendang and Sate Ayam. The Beef and chicken were so flavorful, soft, and chewy. The service is okay, nothing outstanding. We went for a Sunday lunch and there was only the chef and one server/chef's assistant. So it got busy quick since I could tell they were getting a lot of online orders as well. The atmosphere is great, colorful vibes, and serves that instagrammable aesthetic. Their serving size vs price is a bit on the pricier side. Overall, great food and place but I prefer other Indonesian restaurants in Auckland.

First time having dinner at Bali Nights and we really enjoyed everything we tried. The atmosphere on the night we went was on the loud side due to a full hen's night table of approx 20 women. Hard to hear but without them there would only be the house music. The Beef Rendang melted in the mouth, had a delicious flavor. The portion sizes were big making the dinner great value.

This is one of the best restaurants in Auckland for sure, this restaurant serves flavourful cuisines and the taste is very unique. I really liked the sambal sauce they served on the side and it’s good if they have it to purchase for a lower price as they have it for $20. I would definitely go back.

Beef rendang on rice is tasty and melt in your mouth. Ayam bakar is ok. But I don't think the portion size and the tiny sides of veg justify the price of $28 per meal. And a teabag of jasmine tea was charged at $8 which is ridiculous. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

We had a set menu and it was so tasty! The spiciest samabal was SPICY spicy (Sriracha is 3/10 spicy for reference). Really great atmosphere and friendly staff :-) would definitely recommend

You could never deprive an Indo girl from her Indonesian food! Where do I go when I crave for a little slice of Indonesia? Bali nights! where do I go when I want to take my non Indonesian friends to try Indonesian food?? Bali nights! They always have the best service, the best smile and the best food! They showcase the best of Indonesian dishes, culture and generosity. (PS: I am not paid to say this! I mean it with all my heart!) My go to dishes are: Ikan sambal matah (fried fish smothered with fresh cut shallot, chilis and drizzled with lime juice), Iga bakar (grilled short beef ribs so soft they literally melt in your mouth) I am OBSESSED with their Iga bakar! And the last one is their rendang! Did you know that in 2011 rendang was crowned the best food in CNN's world's 50 best food?? I think both their beef rendang and their Vegan (Jack fruit) rendang are just to die for! they taste similar to how my mum would make rendang! so when I miss my mum's rendang, I would go to Bali nights!
