   Their fresh rice noodle is just amazing. Probably this is the only place I know in Auckland who makes fresh rice noodle. I loved almost every dish I tried here but not those side dishes on the table near the casher. They recommend to put them on the noodle but I found pickled vegetables tasted like those from pre-made jar not freshly made. I could be wrong. Always good service with smile and the place is tidy and clean. Overall, I do recommend to try this place if you want to try more homely style Chinese food (I personally not a big fan of Chinese food but like this place).

   They no longer have my favourite chicken braised with ginger and chilli, but the braised duck was an adequate replacement - duck and capsicum in a searingly spicy broth, rich with the flavour of duck cooked on the bone. Everything is very well-seasoned here, like the cured pork and pickled cabbage fried rice, which isn’t a bland side but rather a salty, umami-rich dish on its own. Nice staff and very accomodating of dietary requirements.

   I often eat at this restaurant. The Hunan cuisine here is quite authentic and very tasty, and the prices are also quite reasonable. I often have gatherings with classmates and eat here. I strongly recommend that student gatherings can be held here.

   Absolutely loved our meal at Me & Chef! The flavors were bold, authentic, and beautifully balanced. The Steamed Blue Cod with Chopped Peppers was a standout — tender, juicy fish with just the right level of heat. The Braised Pork Belly was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the rice noodles had great texture and spice. Portions are generous, service was friendly, and the food came out fresh and piping hot. You can really taste the care that goes into each dish. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Chinese flavors in Auckland!

   Lots of dishes that I wish to try on the menu. The price is a bit expensive. Portion not much but taste not bad.

   Fish taste gooooooood. But only the fish. Roasted Duck seems like cooked in oven but re heated at deep fryer. Cabbage didnt have any wok flavour. Deep fried tofu with meat inside was okay. Staff was friendly. Wont go again.

3. Amynot - Spotify: 不想往前 ★★★☆☆

   Ask for little spice and came ultra spicy. (And I can eat spicy but just not in the mood for ultra spice). The beef very dry also... maybe ordered the worst from the menu. I remember going to their branch over the shore and was nice. Will have to try other things on their menu next time.
