I went here it was okay but I did not get much learnt as I was more better than my whole group Do not sign up it cost 60$ each session
Average facilities, average staff and very average management. Building is derelict and should be condemned, freezing cold in winter stinking hot in summer. No seating for parents to watch their kids do gymnastics, floors are always filthy as are the windows and a lot of the equipment is held together with tape,rope and love. Im sure the young staff try their best but they are not trained or prepared well enough to watch the little ones. Management seems to rule the place with an iron fist and you dare not speak up against them. For a town the size of Pukekohe Frankly it’s a sup par facility and the residents deserve a lot better. I hope someone with a better attitude takes the opportunity to build a world class facility our kids deserve. This is third world stuff and I can’t see where the annual gymnastics fees go, they are not cheap and it’s definitely not going into the facility. $600 a year for one child and they are always pleading poverty. Something ain’t right with management!
Usually have good experiences, however the last time we attended one of the coaches ignored my son after the ending song while handing out the stickers and made him feel very unhappy (he is 4 years old). He was kneeling very quietly and politely waiting his turn only to be looked over multiple times and other children prioritised - there was ample appropriate opportunity to engage with our son and it was not taken. Finally, when he got one he was not allowed to chose and not given a hi five like every other child (some 30 odd kids). We will be finding a new club. An email was sent to the club but they are yet to respond.
Play gym for the toddlers is absolutely fantastic! Classes run everyday and provide a great outlet for active little ones. Great facility with heaps of equipment and activities for kids and reasonable price for classes. Highly recommend!
We went to the Wednesday 11-11:45 session. Lots of other little kids and lots of things for kids to climb. Music was too loud, would be better if two speakers at much lower volumes and opposite ends. There were two different large rooms. Did get quite hot in one of the rooms, big door was opened, not too much you can do in the peak of Summer about the heat though, they did have a big fan on. $8 for 45 minutes of play. Expensive for a play activity, but good for a once and a while thing.
I absolutely love this club. My daughter is in the competitive program with some great results. Top grade equipment in a not so nice building that will hopefully be replaced one day. Highly recommend
We had such a great time here celebrating a birthday party for our two children. It was the perfect venue for the kids to burn through loads of energy while having so much fun! There is nothing else like this in Pukekohe that provides so much entertainment for the kids while giving you the flexibility to plan the party the way you want it.
