The grandchildren had a great time in the pool. We were very impressed with the cleanliness. And an affordable entry fee too.
Yet again I cancelled a swim class and they can't seem to remember to stop the automatic payments I wonder how many others they have done this to,
I love visiting Franklin Leisure Centre. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the facilities are always clean, and there is a great sense of community! I enjoy my swim every time and parking is never a problem. Its my local, and I rate it PRIMO status.
Reception - I'd like to commend the exceptional customer service I experienced at the Franklin swimming pool reception. Riley was incredibly welcoming, efficient, and went above and beyond to assist me. Her positive attitude and helpfulness significantly enhanced my visit. Pools were so yuck it wasn't a joke city if u wont to get sick swim here very dirty lookted relly run down owners need to shut it down and up grade it as pools looked like they hadn't been clean for moths broken pool flitters in pool kids pools stated and cold not heated and it breaches the standards of heath and safety big time do not recommend to go here was relly let down
Have visited a number of times now and have never been happy with this facility. Unfortunately it is the only one in the local area so patrons have little choice without driving 40min to the next one. -It is dirty, smells of urine in changing rooms and family room bins haven't been emptied for some time as the smell of baby nappies is so strong the rooms can't be used. - On one visit the head coach yelled and swore at his swimmers down the length of the pool. - lifeguards spend more time talking, looking on their phones and sitting on the table than they do looking at the pool. - the bottom of the pool if always dirty and the centre is often so short staffed it or one of its outdoor pools is closed. - the swim teachers are not Interested in their job, often not even giving accurate instruction or assisting the children in the lap pool while the small pool has teachers who regularly turn their back to the children. - the pool side is green with algae and very slippery, every visit I have seen both visitors or staff slide a little in the algae. - I don't think the pool cover is ever used or cleaned underneath as the floor is covered in black dirt and mold, not a nice sight when standing in at the deep end. - everytime we go there is a different manager which suggests that the facility or management are very difficult to work with. Every manager does less and less to clean it up. On the whole if we had a choice, I would take myself and my grandchildren elsewhere. For now they have been removed from the swimming programme and I will attend elsewhere where ever possible.
I took my 8 year old here today. Absolutely loved it. Very clean too, compared to other public pools we have been to :) Friendly staff aswell
Friendly staff are there and keeping their eyes on a pool. But sad to seen not clean the bottom of a big pool while I was swimming.
