   The new owner now operating as Local Food Market Manly, is friendly and talkative, however is not very honest. He marked bag of potatoes as 1.5kg, when it actually weighed only 1 to 1.2kg when checked it with other scales. On last occasion we bought a bunch of 5 bananas for which he charged $6.70 because it weighed 1.66 kg. He actually had his hand over the banana when he was actually weighing it on his scales at the counter. He said he was just holding the bunch to prevent it from falling while measuring. In reality he was actually pushing it down on the scale with his hand, causing the 5 bananas to weigh 1.66kg. Have never seen a standard banana weighing 350gm each so on returning home we measured it to be only 900gm for 5 banana. We don’t feel like going there again from now on.
