   We had a great experience last night when I took my sister to get her feet scanned for new shoes. Staff were friendly and promptly greeted us and provided an estimated time to be attended to as the store was full. Mita gave us exceptional customer service, he provided many recommendations and didn’t rush us to make a choice. He patiently served us for over 30min until she had her Cinderella experience. She was so happy as she has had chronic foot pain and didn’t know she could find her cloud 9 footwear!

   The staff member on the day we were there (29 Oct, around 6:15 - 6:30 pm) was absolutely phenomenal. He was friendly, kind, and was offering help to all the customers that were in the store at the same time we were there. After purchasing, he asked if I was going to use the shoes right away, and I shared that I will put some protective spray on it first. They were kind enough to offer a complimentary waterproofing spray and I thought that was incredibly thoughtful! We were very pleased with our experience as they went over and beyond our expectations, and my father is even thinking of purchasing here again. Thank you so much for a great experience, team.

   Just wanted to leave a review cause I had such a good experience today during my visit! The shop assistant I’m not sure what his name was I think my receipt said served by Temu or something, I should have asked his name sorry, around 5pm today, was sooo helpful! I walked in just to have a look and he was so friendly and I ended up doing the scan & he picked out 3 really nice shoe options for me to suit my ankle issues. I learned so many new things and he was so knowledgeable! So yeah just wanted to give good feedback that he’s doing really well & I am recommending my friends and family to also come in! I feel like this shop is so underrated but the shoes are such good quality. I love my shoes! Thank you again!

   Highly not recommended shoes from Athletes shop. I had very unpleasant experience with Athlete shop. Customer service also worse. I made a complaint to customer service but no any response yet. I bought a work shoes from Athlete shop Manukau. Sale person recommended me a shoes size after my feet scan. But I found that shoes little bit tight and hard for me, so I didn't wear that shoes.Next day, I went to the shop and asked them to give me one size up and happily they gave me one size up shoes.. But when I checked their online price, same shoes $90 cheaper than in store price, so I went to the store and asked them to make a same price and they happily did it. But new shoes again hurting my feet, even I didn't wear that shoes,I just tried at home and shoes were hurting as shoes material is very hard. I asked manager to give me a credit note so my family member can buy any shoes, as I have heel problem and I need a soft material shoes. I checked all shoes and most of the shoes are hard material. But manager polietly said , I cannot exchange or get refund or not get a credit note for my shoes even my shoes unworn. I just wasted my money to bought shoes from Athlete shop. Shoes price very high even shoes material not gud , no brand. I can get better branded shoes from another shoes store with same price. After my bad experience, my advice to all customers pls buy a shoes until you feel fully satisfied with material and comfort, becz under their policy,u can get exchange only once even shoes are unworn I can't give my shoes to my family or friends as my feet size different from them. Unfortunately I have wasted my hard earned money. I never ever recommend to anyone. Unfortunately you lost a customer: All the best Athletes foot team Manukau.

   I bought a few pairs of running from Athletes foot stores before. I went into Manukau store recently to buy a new pair of NB 1080 and the service was great on the day. I had a bit of an issue after couple of months and went back to the store with the shoes to show them the defect and lady was helpful on the day. She said she will get back in touch in a few days' time. I went back after 2 weeks as I didn't hear back at all. She apologized and said she will get back to me. She came back to me after 4 days and said she will let me know when someone from New Balance will come into store so I can bring in the shoes to show them the defect. It's been another 2 months now and nothing heard back. Might go back to Shoe science for my next pair of shoes.
