   This was my first experience with Chicking after hearing negative things about it. We're greated with a big smile and a very warm welcome, incredibly polite service which is always nice to receive. When our first bits of food came out, they accidentally made the wrong item for us and just gave it to us completely free of charge, how lovely. All the decoration in the shop was quite nice too, the only thing that needs a slight improvement is the cleanliness but thats honestly not a huge deal for me being a farm raised kiwi I could hardly care about such things.

   Bought from here for the first time! Perfectly cooked, nicely seasoned, and served hot. Not too oily, with tender meat and a satisfying crunch and flavours were spot-on. A very satisfying meal, and I’ll definitely buy again!

   We recently placed an order at Chickings Albany and spent over $100 to feed our family of six. While the customer service was okay and the staff was polite, the order itself was disappointing. We were suppose to receive a LARGE mash and gravy, but instead got to mini size pottles- no where near enough for our group. For the amount we spent, we expected better portion sizing and clearer communication. We understand things get busy, but when family invest that much in food, we hope for consistency, fairness and value. Hoping Chickings Albany can improve portion accuracy and honour advertised.

   Absolutely shocking. Did not eat the food I ordered as I was put off by my surroundings. If this is the level of cleanliness that a customer can see, what does it look like where you can't! Clean your restaurant, you're serving food to people and this should not be accepted.

   This place rating from me would be changing every time I visited them as consistency just isn't there. I really appreciate the staff's hard work, and being short-staffed we as customers should understand they don't have the energy to even smile. I saw every night they probably have like 4-5 staff only and are bombarded by so many online orders. With a kitchen so small, couldn't blame them. I see hairnet and gloves are being used, that's great. but please don't forget people's orders like their drink or fries. Thanks

   Burger was average, had higher expectations since I've visited other branches which are better. Just had 1 staff which spent most of her time in the back. Tables not clean at all. Wait time too long for a fast food place.
