   It was a small dingy wee laundry space with a concrete floor on ground level now totally transformed thanks to Mt Eden Flooring Xtra. Looks great fresh and appealing with lots of concrete layers removed waterproofing done new vinyl laid plus a new laundry tub.    The team at Flooring Xtra Mt Eden were a critical part of my home getting its flooring makeover. Guiding me through carpet colour choices to match my existing timber floors. Helping me till we landed on a textured wool carpet in ‘sea salt’ from Victoria Carpets. A craftsman installer came, and they had even designed a plan of my house to have minimal joins in the lineal carpet. It was like watching carpet origami unfold before my eyes. Damien the installer was a genius! I am truly in love with the end result and could not have worked with a better team on the project!

   Great company to deal with. Brad is organised and professional. Install happened the day it was booked and completed to a good standard. They installed laminate floor in a Mt Albert apartment for me. I will contact them when I next need flooring. The photos I have aren’t very good, it looks much better in person!

   We just had our new apartment re-carpeted and I can’t speak highly enough of the service we received from Kristin at Mt Eden Flooring Xtra. She was highly responsive to all our enquiries via email and went out of her way to answer our very niche questions about retiling a small mosaic-floored study, going so far as to do research and speak to expert colleagues. When we visited the store, she was very helpful and chose a selection of carpet samples for us to take to the apartment and try out. Adam, who measured our place, was also very friendly, professional and helpful. We were very happy with the end result, the carpet is lovely and has been installed beautifully. Thank you to the whole team, we really recommend this store if you’re needing new flooring!

From our first visit to the showroom right through to completion of the job we were very impressed with the team’s professionalism.    Product was good however after 3 week wait the install was delayed another 2 weeks due to the team getting COVID (understandable not their fault). However they refused to book the job with anyone else so we found another installer who could do it sooner. They also chose an incorrect underlay product as confirmed by the supplier themselves and our new installer, had to call the supplier also regarding refunds as they didn't want to. We are still waiting for our refund of the installation cost. We have now recieved the partial refund. Edit: Regarding your reply about the underlay being suitable this is not true. I called regupol myself and they told me the product was not suitable for vinyl flooring. You are the professionals and should have known that. The customer shouldn't be expected to call up external suppliers or to know these details.
