   Paid for 2 meals and drinks. Waited 30 minutes and didn't receive anything. The table next to us had been waiting 50 minutes and hadn't got their food. There were 4 tables waiting by the time we left without eating after half an hour of watching the traffic. They took the money quickly enough but didn't say there would be a long wait. We had somewhere to be and expected a quick and freshly made meal beforehand. It's kebabs, not a 7 course degustation. Then when I asked for a refund (because we had to be somewhere) he seemed flabbergasted and exasperated, complaining how busy it was - when we got there there was only one table (they'd been waiting 50 mins by the time we left). We eventually got the refund but come on, if you can't serve your customers get out of the business of serving customers. Or at the very least mention when they pay that it might involve a long wait so they can make their mind up. Not good enough. Sort it out. Complaining you're busy when you're not even busy is weak. 50 mins+ to serve 4 meals on rice? Not good.

   I paid $22 for a lamb meal with salad and hummus. 2/3rds of the plate was coleslaw, 1desert spoon of hummus hiding in the corner of the meal and small pieces of lamb onto of the salad. Will never come back to this place.

   Please don't sell your halal meals like they are different different. It appears and tastes like you don't know what you're doing making Persian dishes like the lamb pasanda and the eggplant/beef casserole whatever that's called. How do they taste identical apart from the meat and look like there's a ton of onions strewn through it, looks nothing like what is online. False advertising i believe is a crime and no one should be paying close to 30 per dish on Uber eats on meals like this. It was disgraceful, stewed onions with meat on rice would've been more accurate description and photo. When you have no choice but to eat what you spent your hard earned money on after a long day it is a grievous experience. Never again.

   Highly recommend, staff are so lovely and food is delicious and comes out very quickly. It’s nice to sit in and eat in the summer with the large windows out front. My family has been ordering from here for the past 20 odd years, quality has always been great and is our favorite go to on a Sunday night.

   Went during the Onehunga culinary crawl. You'd expect them to put on their best food and service. Nope. We arrived first for our timeslot but was served our mains last, after everyone else. The moussaka was all potato and almost no mince... If they wanted to advertise their business through the culinary crawl, it definitely did the opposite for us.

   Food was okay and man at the till who made the food seemed very unfriendly. But I thank you for making me the dish I ordered. The lady was okay- I've heard Turkish people are friendly and hospitality is great and they were seen friendly with everyone coming in and leaving but me...so I wouldn't recommend the service as it wasn't friendly and made me feel quite uncomfortable when waiting for food!
