   I went there the first time for a haircut with a perm. Armed with a reference photo, she suggested something totally different to what I wanted and did not cut my hair anything like the reference picture or discuss what would suit my face shape. I had to tell the hairdresser to cut some layers as I did not ask for a blunt cut with the perm. I returned again a few years later to give her another chance. I brought a reference photo and instead of asking more questions about what sort of style I was going for and fine details that would suit me, she cut me off mid sentence and asked if I wanted something similar to her hairstyle. I found her communication to be very lacklustre, and minimal. It is not the language that is the problem, but very much her communication style. She does not ask a lot of questions and does not listen well to take your ideas into the experience. If you want to have a hairdresser who listens and communicates clearly and honestly, this IS NOT the place. It may be reasonably price, but it is not worth it when you walk out unhappy with your experience Just be aware.

   I had such a great experience here yesterday! I got a big haircut and my first ever perm from Judy and I could not be happier with the results! She matched exactly what I wanted from my reference photos and gave me the most fun and bouncy perm. Watching Judy cut my hair was mesmerising, she is a fantastic hairdresser and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking about getting a perm or just needs a basic haircut. Even my bangs look fantastic after having her cut them which can be a rare find in a hairdresser! She was quick but very thorough and also very reasonably priced - it was only an hour and a half turn around from walking in with long straight hair to walking out with short curly hair.

   I had no previous history with blossom hair studio so I went in ‘blind’ and hoping for the best. I was curious about a digital perm but it wouldn’t achieve what I wanted to achieve, so following the advice I was given I chose for a cold perm, which is also cheaper. The owner went about it quick and efficient, and I walked out with a perm I was really happy with. My curls are beautifully soft, not the dry and frizzy I’m used to from a perm, so I am super happy and would highly recommend her.

   First time I was very satisfied by my haircut as it was exactly how I wanted it to be! I came in for a fix as I was unhappy with the haircut I got from a different salon. I struggled with my thick, frizzy and wavy hair. She was very honest and recommended what would be best for me including how to style and maintain. She also explained to me what went wrong with my previous cut and what should I do to recover from it. She was so sweet and kind. Most of the time, I would see other hairdressers frown upon doing my thick hair as I understand it can get heavy for their wrists. But she made me feel comfortable and heard with my concern. I highly recommend this salon especially for people with my hair type!

   Blown away! I cannot express enough how satisfied I was and am with my hair and the salon. From the moment I walked in to the salon, to consultation, to the treatment and until the moment I left, everything was amazing. Michelle welcomed me with a tea and biscuits while I waited for my turn. At first, I was indecisive as to what I wanted to do with my hair. She suggested me many options that will suit me, with explanations of the pros and cons of each hair treatments. She was very patient with me all throughout, ensuring I select an option that I will not regret. I chose to bleach my hair and get the Ash Blonde colour. Michelle really looked after me during the process ensuring that I was comfortable at all times! The treatment was painless as she had extensive years of experience, and just knew how to do so. I was so satisfied and thrilled with the final result!! Not to mention that she was super friendly to the other customers as well! Her charming kindness and positive energy was indeed contagious and filled the whole salon. I feel extremely blessed that I have found this salon and will definitely return!!
