   From first day I came in he said he does not have eftpos only cash but when I sat down he used eftpos for a customer he just done. a cut and his hiding it at the back and I’m a regular customer and he lied to me so his being doggy not have to pay tax that much and it’s a hassle getting out cash finding a eftpos sometimes. The owner is not a good barber he dosent know what his doing and ruins the hair cut I only go there because he has a barber that is really good and knows what his doing and the way I want it to be. One time my friend went there just to get a hair and beard done and he shaved the beard so much that he was angry and said he won’t come back here very disappointed.

   Absolutely terrible. Jet Set Barbershop in Papatoetoe is hands down the worst barber experience I’ve ever had. The guy who cut my hair had no idea what he was doing. He didn’t know how to do a basic haircut, completely messed up the fade, and absolutely ruined my beard. He didn’t even know how to use a trimmer properly he was guessing his way through everything like it was his first day on the job. To top it off, his attitude was horrible. Rude, unprofessional, and totally uninterested in doing a good job. I walked in hoping for a clean cut and walked out with a complete mess. My hair and beard are ruined it’s going to take weeks to fix this disaster. Save yourself the regret and stay far away from Jet Set Barbershop. Total waste of money and time.

   Quick service. Did not have to waste time waiting. Waiting area was comfortable. Shop was clean. Polite and courteous staff. Importantly,price was sweet. This had become by regular barber. Despite inflation, price is still sweet!

   Took my son here for a hair cut. Barber that cut his hair was really very nice and he was very gentle. He took time to do a great job and didnt rush at all. Highly recommended. Good price compared to other places.
