   My wife and I had an amazing lunch experience!! Olga made sure that we were well looked after, checking in on us a few times and asking for our feedback on a recently launched menu item. It was obvious that customer satisfaction was important to the staff. Food & Drink We ordered a new white chocolate and pistachio iced drink, Cheeky Yorkie, Bacon butty w generous side of halloumi… and surprisingly the best decafe flat white that I’ve ever had. The dishes did not disappoint, they were very tasty indeed! We appreciate the diverse and more unique menu which doesn’t get too outrageous in pushing the envelope (as some other modern cafes do). Thing we appreciated: - On First Table app (half price food bill) - The music was not too loud, nor the road noise - we could easily hold conversation at a natural volume. - large bifold doors opened for a pleasant breeze during a summer day.

   My first time here and the rain certainly didn’t keep people away! The place was busy, and while we did wait longer than expected, the staff were attentive and very apologetic. Our meals were generous, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious — so filling we couldn’t even fit in coffee! The cabinet food looked really impressive too -I’m keen to come back and try it one day. Thanks

   2025: Another dine-in visit to Beaufort & Co in Oteha, and nearly a year later, the experience is still top class. Special mention to Olga—your warm manner and attention to customer care were truly appreciated. When we realised we’d missed out on one of the special doughnuts of the day (caramel gingerbread), Olga kindly arranged with the chef to create some alternative options for our takeaway order, going well above and beyond expectations. Huge thanks to the chef as well for making it happen. Our dine-in meals were served quickly, beautifully presented, and well-balanced in flavour. Portion sizes were just right, and our hot drinks were absolutely delicious. The takeaway packaging is next-level—loved the clear window so you can peek at what's inside. My friend said the scone was one of the yummiest she'd ever had. The doughnuts were rich and satisfying, with a thick cream that held its shape well. My daughter loved her bacon hash croissant and smoked salmon bagel. The pistachio croissant had a dense texture and probably would’ve been even better warmed up at home —something to keep in mind for next time. The “everything” slice was a bit much for our palates, but if you’re into fruit and chocolate combos, it’ll likely hit the spot. Highly recommend Beaufort & Co for both dine-in and takeaway if you're after a treat for the tastebuds. 2024: We just had breakfast at Beaufort & Co, and it was a top-tier experience from start to finish. Tiramisu Dessert Shake – 5/5: Everything we'd hoped for—creamy and subtle, with excellent presentation. The lady finger added a delightful crunchy texture. Passionfruit Spritzer – 5/5: Fresh, tangy, and bursting with real passionfruit flavour. Absolutely delicious. Mochaccino – 5/5: Perfect in flavour, temperature, and presentation. Smoked Salmon Beaufort Benne – 5/5: Faultless. Each ingredient was perfectly cooked and presented. The best Eggs Benedict we've had so far, with a perfect serving size. S'mores Waffles – 5/5: The quality and care put into this dish were evident. The waffles were crispy on the outside, light but moist on the inside. The berry compote was delicious, and the chocolate mascarpone was decadent with a smooth texture. The homemade marshmallow squares with a subtle berry jelly layer at the bottom were the cherry on top—a true chef's kiss. The service was A++, with lovely staff who made us feel welcome. The seating was comfortable, the décor clean and bright, and the music—a mix of classic hits—was the perfect way to start the day. 100% recommend this place! 2023: Amazing quality and tasty food. Excellent set up and presentation. Gets quite busy because of this but booking a table ahead of time will see you seated comfortably without any issues. They have a text line you can pre-order from (check FB) and an excellent takeaway service too.

   Consistently delicious at Beaufort & Co! This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. The service was friendly and attentive, the food beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the coffee - absolutely perfect. A great bonus: kids eat free with a paying adult during the school holidays, which makes it even better for families. A great spot we’ll keep coming back to! Thank you.

   I found this gem of a Café on my morning walk. Great staff, great service, great #food and #coffee. The passionfruit muffin was very scrumptious and filled with joy. The Otakiri Sparkling mineral water is one of NZs best (from Eastern Bay of Plenty) Great atmosphere/vibe.

   This cafe is always consistently great. Great service, great coffee, great food. Staff are always smiley and friendly. They always go above and beyond to accommodate you. The guy that runs it defo knows his stuff. I love this cafe, its a little bit off route for me but when I drive past I always stop in. The donuts are amazing too!

   Eggs bene... Hollandaise split, micro greens whiltered ( don't put them on unless they look fresh). Loads of kale (not all fresh) which looked to be trying to hide the split hollandaise. Su veed eggs just sat and were gelatinous. Couldn't finish meal. Dissatisfied. Had been looking at yr 6 course meal as a treat out with hubby, but this was not a good advertisment. Upside, the hot chocolate is perhaps the best I have had. Staff did refund cost of food, not that I asked for that.

   Stopped in for morning tea and it was absolutely delicious! My mum and Nana enjoyed the gluten free muffins and I have found a place that does the most tasty delectable vegan cookies from Vegan Treatory. Will definitely come back again!!!

   To be honest, staff looked new, took multiple trips to get us the water, cutlery, napkins etc.. food was quite average too. The donut was a bit dry, perhaps a day or two old? Coffee was alright **added** Thank you for the reply. Glad to hear the donuts are made daily. I didn’t mean to complain about the service, but just some points I noted as a first time customer. Also, I forgot to mention, the eggs bene (not in the photos) had overcooked eggs so the yolk was not runny which was again, a basic expectation not met.
