we come here all the time I have loved everything on the menu. the fried rice has authentic Chinese sausage and is so good, very rare that places put Chinese sausage in their fried rice. I have also had their shiu mai and dumplings, all so yummy!!

One of the finest Chinese food I have had outside of China itself. Do not let the homely facade fool you, this is a high-quality, expertly-served fine-dining experience with knowledgeable professionals next to you taking you through an culinary journey across the highest echelons of oriental cuisine. The beef noodle was brilliant, the spicy pork perfect, and the braised duck wings simply divine. Had the Yellow Emperor dined here himself he would not have had anything to complain of. This is a must-visit for anyone who finds themselves in New Zealand. Whether you are Chinese looking for a taste of home, a Kiwi giving good food a go, or Arnold Schwarzenegger traveling back from the future and needing a cheeky refuel, this is the place to go. Let me complete my review for Wuhan Cafe with a quote from Scripture: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." What Matthew found in Jesus, you will find at Wuhan Cafe.

Had the Popcorn chicken and chips. Chips were meh (not a bad thing, it is chips after all). Popcorn was actually really good. Very crispy and tasty. They don't take International Visa... so best to come with cash or Eftpos. Would go again

Cosy setting. Prices were great. Would absolutely recommend the duck wings, cheap and delicious. Oh man, the Chinese burgers were heavenly as well. 1 free boba tee every 30 bucks spent. Banging deal if you're getting quite a bit.

Small cafe with many options and friendly service. Tasty noodles and wuhan style omelette. Went there twice with friends, who told me it’s authentic Wuhan flavour. I personally loved the cold green bean soup most for a hot summer day.

Great food, lovely staff/owner. Ordered braised pork & egg fried rice, and that's amazing! Will definitely back again for other menus!

Terrible marinated duck wings i’ve ever tested , I am sure it’s been in the fringe for a long time! super hard and salty meat. This kind of food costs you $13 for 10 pieces...... The lady or (owner) warmed up these wings, put in foam takeaway box directly… NEVER EVER COME BACK AGAIN. Thanks

Very poor service. Littered with used cutleries (wish I saw them first). After paying, they kept chatting and only started cooking after about 5 minutes. Do not recommend.
