   We visited the Farmers store in Manukau Westfield this afternoon and were in the furniture section, specifically at the Luca Paddy Swivel chair. Our child was rocking up and down a bit on the chair. At that point, a staff member shouted from a distance, “Hey, your kid can’t jump up and down like that!” My wife immediately apologized and said she’d keep our child calm. However, the staff member then added, “If you want them to rock that hard, you’ll have to buy the chair and take it home.” In my view, shouting like this in a busy store environment was quite startling and left my wife and child feeling a bit shaken. It also doesn’t reflect well on Farmers’ image to have staff addressing customers in that manner.

   New staff in a small appliances section was very rude. I have been shopping for 25years in the Farmers stores. He created new rule and spoke rudely. On top floor manager did not apologies even after hearing him rudely interrupted.

   I have considered not posting this as in the past I have had a positive experience at this store. While shopping the black friday sales i overhead 2 male staff discussing a manager under investigation and issues with other staff. As they were speaking mother tounge they might of felt comfortable that people wouldnt understand, my daughter and I felt this wasnt good management and shouldn't be spoken about with customers around. They were speaking badly about other staff and it seemed they were people of authority within the store, this was disappointing

   Pretty huge iconic store in Manukau mall. It is an unsaid rule in our to visit this store if we are in Manukau mall. Ample variety of almost everything available. I or rather my better half particularly like the range of cosmetics. The kids section has a lot of variety. Some furniture and kitchen appliances also available but not a huge selection. The staff is helpful and courteous. Parking is not a problem since it is in the mall.

   Was ok..from hamilton couldn't get the right size here ..mens suit....ended up getting the right size but only one staff member was very helpful..other 2 didnt even care.

   I had bought a product from Sylvia Park and took it to Manukau as this was open and I didn’t realise until I got home. The lady at Manukau told me I needed yo go back to Silvia Park and that since covid they have policy.All I wanted was an exchange of a new product. When I challenged her that if that is the policy then perhaps this needs to fixed at the bottom of the receipt.With her rude attitude she goes on to tell me that she will do that as a one-off as I proceeded to speak with a manager. Our community can barely make it to the nearest store and if Farmers has any rule as such this would be a thoughtless decision made without keeping the community at forefront!

   Well laid out store, very helpful staff and fabulous ranges of products. Road access into the store was easy, parking was a breeze in a large shopping centre area. Prices are creeping up considerably but so are a lot of others I guess - still $89 for simple tights/Ponte pants is definitely stretching it...

   May 2023 FARMERS stores have been in business for decades, offering a great range of products at competitive prices. Having been in this store many time before, it's great to see that it is always clean and the staff are pleasant too.
