   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic stay at Grange Motel! The room was very clean, spacious, and had everything I needed – especially the kitchenette, which made it easy to cook my own meals. The location is super convenient, close to the airport and shops. The staff were friendly and professional, and parking was easy. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting South Auckland – whether for a short stay or longer visit!

   Great location, close to hotel. The service was superb, I had a late check-in and they were able to accommodate me getting in past 10pm. Loved the personal note from Shirley and some Chinese crackers, I was starving after a long flight. My only feedback is enforcing quiet hours, the walls are thin between rooms and I couldn’t fall asleep until a bit after 11:30pm as I could hear others talking or their tv on too loud.

   Our family of 4 adults stayed in the 2 bedroom family unit for 2 weeks recently. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The owners and staff were very welcoming. The Grange Motel is in an excellent location with nearby access to the motorway. It is close to Hunters Plaza for groceries and shopping. There are many places to eat nearby. We would highly recommend staying at the Grange Motel.

   I’ve traveled extensively across the North Island, staying in various accommodations, and this motel stands out as one of the best my family and I have experienced. The customer service was exceptional, far exceeding my expectations. From the kind owners who regularly checked in on us, to the friendly and respectful cleaning staff, every interaction was a pleasure. This motel is ideal for a wide range of travelers, whether for business or leisure, families, tourists, or couples. I’ll definitely be staying here again during my next trip to Auckland. Its central location, close to shops and bus routes in both directions, is incredibly convenient, and having a washing machine and dryer on-site was a real bonus. The grounds were well-maintained, and the owner took great care in keeping the gardens and lawns pristine.

   Our room was a bit close to the road but we all got a good night's sleep! Basic but clean and even left milk for us to have a cup of tea on arrival! Great for a stop off near the airport!

   Although there was one Female manager who was relatively nice and helpful, the three bedroom house that me and my family were put in that was paid for by work and income, was not up to clean hotel hygienic standards that you would expect as a worker at a hotel or a guest staying at a hotel. The floors had not been mopped and were dirty to the point where I would wear slippers because my socks or feet would go black because of it, the bathroom had mould in the shower and a huge brown stain in the bathtub. Also the windowsills had not been wiped and there was cobwebs in the toilets not to mention cockroaches in the rooms, blankets and bugs. Had arranged to stay at this place because of our neighbours puppies giving us a flea infestation due to breach of contract with pets and lack of enforcement from property management to get them removed, but this place turned out to be worse and revolting enough that we only stayed as long we could stand it which turned out to be only five days because of having to wait for the fumes from the fumigation that had been done.

   We had a good stay here. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. The manager takes great care at presentation. Early on we thought it was going to be a noisy location but we slept without issue. Very comfy. The guest laundry facilities were a big plus for us. The lack of pub-style dinner venues and cafes meant we had quite a drive to find dinner and breakfast. Other than that, it was great for our last night in NZ.
