   Pita Pit on Parnell Road is close to new job so had it for lunch today and WOW I forgot how delicious and it is! Plus Parnell Road is awesome to eat in, staff were THE BEST! AMAZING service, really helpful because I have low spice tolerance and she was awesome! Highly recommend to all!

   + The Korean chicken salad was tasty and fresh + upon request, provided extra disposable bowl for sharing food. - wedges were undercooked, after a long wait, no other customers in shop. When I pointed this out they put them on a hot grill plate to cook, rather than a deep fryer, which took a long time with no such great result. - not one but two LED ceiling lights were in strobe mode (end of life) making the atmosphere quite uncomfortable

   The Mediterranean Chicken and Falafel salad is excellent! Has a variety of veggies not just lettuce. Also has beans, feta cheese, and avocado. They even grill the chicken in the restaurant. It’s a damn good salad compared to the crap at some other similar chain salad shops and even most of the kebab shops! If you’re looking for a decent salad and it’s a weird hour of the day when the boutique salad shops are closed, this might be the place to go!

   By far the worst Pita Pit experience I’ve ever had. Waited 20 mins for them to even start making my pita, I had to ask multiple times for them to cook the prawns properly (some were on top of each other, so not getting cooked) The new ordering system seems to have slowed the whole process down infinitely and seems to overwhelm the workers

   Service was so bad. I don't think the gentleman understood English well. We got combos, but had to ask for our drinks and dips. The young lady who cooked the food did a lovely job.

   If you want a quick meal, don’t come here lol. Even with minimal customers, it’s still a 20+min wait for one pita… first one I got was great but the second had all the sauce at one end and all the falafel at the other. Some more training wouldn’t go amiss I think, it’s a quiet shop customers shouldn’t have to wait so long. I have also been told to order at the screen when I didn’t want to, as it take 2-3 min just to fill out the order form.

   Pita Pit was nice up until we seen a bird fly in, stand in the food trays eat bits and fly back out the door again. The bird made several trips in and out so obviously a regular. Lady behind the counter swooped it away once and then just ignored it. Even seen the bird sh*ting in the reastraunt and as flying around. I'd hate to think it had sh*t in the food! Quite the food safety Hazzard! Highly recommend you go somewhere else!

   Very Poor Food safety training with the staff, my food was left sitting on the stainless steel bench which bacteria likes to sit on if anyone with basic food safety training should know. As a result had bad stomach cramps and went to the toilet multiple times. Auckland council needs to review this place.
