At first they seemed really kind and caring. I've been going to see them for about a year. But there is a lack of serious commitment from the counsellors. They are just playing at being counsellors. For example, there was a lot of absenteeism from my first counsellor. Then just as we were making progress, he decided to leave. I had just 2 sessions with my new counsellor, then she went for a 3 week holiday in Bali. When she returned, I then found out that the notes my first counsellor had made were very vague and I'd virtually have to start everything from scratch. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. For in-depth, serious counselling, this is not the place to go. For smaller, light-weight issues, they are perfectly fine. But they have really left me in the lurch. Plus nowhere does it say on their website that they hire newly graduated counsellors who are using Rosa as a stop gap before finding full-time work. Surely. clients should be informed of this from the start. People need to know that their counsellor may not stay at Rosa for very long. I suspect this is how they keep their costs down.
