This is one of 2 shops in Orewa selling very reasonably priced everyday products. We have purchased what one could call the impossible thing to find but always found them in this shop. One day, I may find they do not have what I am looking for. Fantastic shop.
Do not shop here. I repeat, DO NOT SHOP HERE. Unless you are a person of colour who actually WANTS to experience racism. While Asian owned and a person of colour herself, the lady running the store showed a different level of kindness and service to those of the.. ‘lighter-skinned’ variety, than to those on the darker side of the skin spectrum. I enjoy shopping locally so it was an unfortunate experience to have, especially since I had my elderly mother with me visiting for the first time from overseas. Needless to say, we left without purchasing anything.
