Mel is my stylist who I followed from previous salon when she moved to here in Oct 2024. I value her comprehensive skill set from listening well to delivering what I want - whether it’s consistency of style or suggesting new ideas for cut, colour & treatments when I want to change things up. Quality colour & treatment products that last well. Variety of booking options from phone bookings to online to suit a range of preferences. Ask for a massage at the basin if there’s time - delicious ‘Cherry on the top’ of a great experience.

Followed the fabulous Mel to Miss Momajo and loved my first cut in a while in this snazzy and friendly salon. Well worth the trip out there from Petone. Mel is super talented and brilliant with my crazy curls. Highly recommend.

I go to Debbie who works independently from Miss Momajo. Debbie is awesome. Not had hair done by Mamajo staff so can't comment. But all very pleasant
The salon is great and they did a great job. However I felt judged by one of the hairdressers who refused to touch my hair. And the end price was a lot more than quoted.
Recently renovated, newer salon with a great team! I’ve had my hair done at Miss Momajo a few times and always walk away smiling and in love with my cut & color! Recently I had Stacey as my stylist, she nailed what I wanted, I’m obsessed! You won’t find another team as nice and welcoming as this one! Book your appointment, you won’t be disappointed!
So I just rocked on up to get a haircut and they managed to squeeze me in. The young lady that settled me in was very friendly and did a great job of washing my hair. Steph cut it and did an amazing job. Loved the easygoing conversation with the girls will definitely come back if I’m in the area again.
