newly renovated with nice and comfy chairs and tables. coffee was nice and perfect temperature for cold weather outside. Good variety of food options including vegetarian. I would definitely go back again.
Food here is amazing and decently sided and priced. I love their french toast in particular. Always easy to get a table and the tables are kept clean and clear. Food comes out quickly and staff are super friendly
The food complements the coffee beautifully at this cafe. My new favourite spot for a relaxing weekend morning Coffee — their Croissant was fresh and hearty, and was indeed satisfying together with the hot coffee. Surely coming out back again, happy customer :)
Visited Columbus Coffee Avondale with my wife for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered the Big Breakfast — the bacon was perfectly cooked, eggs were beautifully runny, and the mushrooms and sausage were super tasty and well done. My wife had the mushrooms with pesto on ciabatta bread — absolutely delicious! Full of flavor and a definite highlight. The interior was so pleasant, and with the sun shining through, it made for a peaceful and relaxing brunch vibe. Great food, lovely atmosphere — would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Not great experience for us. Difficulties with getting the order correct, and then food was served to our young child on a burning hot plate, very dangerous. Food was low quality, poorly painted interior. Not the usual standard of Columbus cafes from my experience and we frequently visit them all around Auckland.
Just stopped in for a coffee and muffin. Sunday afternoon so was extremely quite. Which I am not complaining about. It looks like it's a very busy place during the week. Coffee and food were great
Absolute perfection, had coffee there with a friend. I'm really particular about scone's I don't want it microwaved, I want it fresh, I want it not from the freezer, or 5 days old. Savoury Scone was to die for! Perfection. 10/10 Fresh, crumbled just slightly, put it under the grill for me. Staff friendly and helpful and the toilets were well looked after as well. WELL DONE! Please keep up the fantastic work! So impressed.
