Poor traffic management, and Ikea should find ways not to impact other customers for the mall. I went to ikea early morning, and left just after 11:30am, heading to Sylvia Park mall straight after through carbine road entrance. When I was about to leave the mall just after 1pm, staff decided to block the exit to carbine road. WTH, I had to take another road waste so much time for what? Seriously, you can't just make such big traffic management change half way through the day and make people pay for your incompetence.

We decided to pick up our kitchen island from the warehouse to avoid high shipping costs. However, upon unpacking it at home, we were disappointed to find several issues: cracked wood, misaligned towel rails, and a poorly attached granite countertop. When we contacted customer service, they insisted that for a replacement, we'd have to return the item ourselves and pick up a new one, or we could have it shipped to us but we would have to pay for shipping of the new item to our house PLUS pay for the shipping to return the faulty one to their warehouse. This was unacceptable to us, as it felt like punitive customer service and they were unwilling to do anything to fix the issues. Unfortunately, this experience has left us unwilling to recommend or purchase from them again.

My father purchased some tower bolts for a front door. They donβt carry stock and told him they would order it in and it would arrive in 2 weeks from Australia. He rang up finding out where it was, they were not helpful at all and had no idea. The bolts finally arrived 6 weeks later (?!) I made numerous calls and no one really cared about the delay it was taking. The staff are incredibly unhelpful.

This isn't even the worst service I've had from them, it's just the latest in a long line of terrible experiences with this company. I purchased the two seater slouch and intended to buy the ottoman that goes with it next. Despite all those items being in their current summer mailer they told me they're lines that have been deleted and that there are none in the country, there's two sitting in their Victoria distribution Warehouse that they would send to fulfill an order here if they weren't deleted lines but they are so they arbitrarily won't. I was going to spend another $12,000 on other items like their bone inlay furniture but now I've learnt my lesson fully and will take my business elsewhere. Avoid at all cost.

We purchased our 4m outdoor dining table, matching bench and 12 chairs and the entire set is spectacular. We purchased on sale at the end of season knowing delivery would be in time for the next season. It has already been well used and is well loved by the entire family.

Mid to high priced items are well displayed. Good store layout as it makes navigating your shopping fun. Be there during SALE. Friendly and helpful staff are on standby and pleasant to deal with.

We won't buy from the Botany Branch again unless they have the item is stock. It took 6 months to get our shelving. OK I understand the Covid delays, but the we don't care attitude and lack of service and communication did not go down well.

Collected my Alla Crystal Glass Ball Floor Lamp today. So happy with the recommendation given to me by an Indian sales assistant last Thursday. Forgot to ask for her name. When I ask to test out the lamp, she immediately carry it to connect to a power point, fixed up a bulb and demo to me. She changed another bulb to show me the highest brightness the lamp can go and explained patiently. Giving good recommendation while looking at the picture of my lounge. Another Kiwi guy at the counter been really nice and friendly as I collected my lamp today. Very happy with the service and the beautiful designs in the store.
