⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can't praise this pharmacy enough! Having moved around Auckland a bit, I've seen my fair share of pharmacies, but this one stands out as my absolute favorite in all of Auckland. The team here is incredibly helpful, hardworking, and always willing to go the extra mile. A special shoutout to Lorraine and Sam – your continued support and availability for any health enquiries are greatly appreciated. It's upsetting to see negative comments because my experiences have been nothing but fantastic. Thank you for being a beacon of excellent service and care in the community. Highly recommend this pharmacy to everyone!

I want to start by saying that the Pharmacy staff have always been brilliant, polite and prompt. They are not the source of the 1* star review, which is the first I've ever written for any business, and hopefully the last. This review relates directly to the NZ Post Office. I had signed up for mail redirect to 455 Pharmacy a few years back, a service that they offer through NZ Post. I hadn't needed this service very often, until the January 27th 2023 floods devastated our home, leaving my husband and my pregnant self in temporary accommodation for an extended period of time, with no postal address, needing to replace many important items (including baby items) that we'd lost. As a result, I started using the redirect service. I'd explained this to multiple staff behind the counter, often exhausted, always apologetic and explaining the unique circumstances that I'd found myself in. It was all good, until one day, it wasn't, and I was asked to pay for these services by signing up to a PO Box as I'd received too many parcels in a year. I called up NZ Post to ask them whether I'd done anything wrong, and the answer was absolutely not. So I took this explanation back to counter, and I was met with an extremely defensive answer, of "if we did this for all customers, it'd cripple the pharmacy" and "we're not equipped to handle this volume" and "this service isn't our main business, but it exists for the community, but NOT if they get frequent parcels like you." The last comment was the one that hurt the most, and left me in tears, as I am a member of the Mt Eden Community, and one that had found myself on the backfoot and really needed to access this service. And quite honestly, as a customer - this isn't a conversation for me, but one that needs to be handled between the pharmacy and NZ Post - a B2B relationship. If you cannot deliver on a service, you should not be providing it. I'd been using a service that had been advertised, and as far as the communication and my research had suggested - was at no fault. So I found this conversation incredibly hurtful, disheartening and disappointing. I used to be very into supporting local, but have since forwarded all my scripts, and my family scripts to a big box pharmacy instead, and taken my postal needs elsewhere. Since I've talked to others in the Mt Eden community about it, I have since found out that the other pharmacy in the village is owned by the same people, so if you don't want to support one, avoid the other too. I really hope they take the time to reflect on the way they choose to interact with other members of the community, who find themselves in vulnerable situations in the future.

Went to pick medicines, Indian origin lady was so rude, like I have said something to her. It feels like she throwing stones while talking. If you are in a customer facing job be polite and humble at least rather then being rigid.

Very poor customer service, when I went in they couldn’t be bothered saying hello or asked how they could help just β€˜spoke’ to me from the dispensary. When I went back to pick up prescription I got none of the usual have you used this before etc and just rang it up without a single word while looking off in the distance. Really rude and arrogant, felt like I was annoying them and interrupting their day with my custom.

These people do a fantastic job. Opened a PO Box service so the community would not be disadvantaged when Post Shop removed by NZ Post. I have nothing but praise for the staff. Never had a problem with their PO service. Excellent community service all round.

Blonde lady at the NZ Post counter has zero capability to perform even the most basic of customer service skills. I needed to pick up a parcel I had dropped off just an hour before, as our system glitched and we were unable to track it. I had a simple request to either bring in a new label or to take back my parcel to fix it back at the office. For some reason, this aggravated the lady and she became extremely hostile towards me. Constantly repeating she had been doing this for years and it would be fine and asking me to 'listen' multiple times, even though I had explained this was not an issue with them, it was an issue with our own system. She didn't even know what e-ship was. This is a grown woman acting like a frustrated toddler because someone asked a perfectly reasonable question, extremely strange? I took my parcel back and will never be going here again. Worst treatment I've ever received. Disgusting. Do not go here.
