Completed my open water with Dive HQ. Tyla made me feel safe and at ease in the water. Adjusting my gear when I felt unbalanced, going over skills 1 on 1 when I needed and even bringing me a hot water bottle post dive. Got to try out gear from the shop before committing to buying anything and picked a few things up at a really reasonable price!

Popped into Dive HQ to get some gear for recreational snorkelling. They have an impressive range and provided great advice about fitting as well as usage tips. If you're newbies like us certainly start here when you're looking rather than settling for the limited options that the big box places may have. As we left my wife and I commented to each other about their thoughtful friendly service.
A large Petone dive shop with a wide selection of scuba, snorkel and free open dive advice. Helpful and knowledgable staff and reasonable prices compared to other Wellington shops. They also sell second hand dive items from there internal dive school which is a great option.
Really good crowd to deal with (awesome as Claire would have it). Plenty of activities. Diving pretty much every weekend. Both training and fun dives. HQ is a PADI five star training centre.
