   It's Maccas, you know what you should be getting right? This one is in a great spot down in Petone...what a shame it's not a block closer to the esplanade! However, it's a very tidy restaurant, I mean very clean and clear, well laid out, great seating options, and in very good well maintained condition. It is bright, nice level of music, seems very convivial as I sit here with my breakfast...staff are clear with orders, visibly helpful and engaging, good eye contact and friendly. It is one of the best examples of from the big fast food outlets that I've seen in a long time.

   Olivia and Henry are the best people at McDonalds I’ve ever dealt with as a 27 year old chicky!!! They are so friendly, kind and just all around so much fun in the drive thru and do so well to remember you and your orders aswell!!    This is one of my favourite McDonald’s locations in town. The restaurant is consistently well-maintained, and the cleaning lady pays exceptional attention to detail. Her dedication and genuine care for her work truly leave a lasting impression. The bacon and egg were perfectly prepared and did not disappoint. Unlike some outlet where the buns are burnt and the bacon is overcooked with black charred bits and greasy residue, everything here was cooked to perfection -soft bun, tasty bacon, and perfectly prepared overall. Well done to the team, and I hope the quality of the Bacon & Egg McMuffin stays just as good!

   Best McDonald's in Wellington! Came here to get a quick snack after a long day walk. Firstly, i got the $6 deal with 2 large fries and a small drink, and the fries were cooked perfectly. I also got a chocolate mic dip with chocolate soft serve ice cream, and in my opinion, chocolate soft serve is a game changer. The service here was also very fast and efficient. Will definitely be back.

   Terrible service. Forgot items from the order; Didn't bother to remove unavailable items from their kiosk, the replacement cost less, but they claimed otherwise, when shown the receipt, said they couldn't refund the difference, only when asked for the manager, did they refund the difference instead.

   I gave 3 stars because I was in the drive-through, and I'm not always the best company. Lol I drive past macdonalds Lower Hutt and hit Petone. Because unlike Lower Hutt, the food at Petone is fresh, hot, and nice. And if there is ever a problem, they rectify it promptly.

   I think I’ve actually found the worst coffee in New Zealand! I don’t know why I keep giving Maccas the benefit of the doubt - I think it was a recent holiday to Dubai, where their McD’s coffee tastes like actual coffee. Instead, here it tastes like burnt licorice water. Just yuck! Not helped by the cold fries and bland burger. I think my relationship with McDonalds might finally be over.
