I have asked them if they can cut the hair of my daughter based on the photo provided. They said yes but it was nothing closer to it and they didn’t even tidy up. It was horrendous!
I asked for a blow out taper and even showed the guy working there a photo of what I wanted, and he said "low taper fade?" and I said no I want it to be a blow out so leave some hair on the back and he repeatedly told me he was going to give me a low taper fade and he was not listening. it was quite late about 5-6 pm but still he should've listened to what I asked for and not rushed it also the fact that he did not even end up giving me a low taper fade, he gave me the ugliest bowl cut imaginable, also for some reason I have curtains now? in addition I asked him to cut the front down a bit so that my hair was not in my eyes and he cut off about an inch leaving me with a literal bowl cut, and once we had left the shop and I was feeling my new "hairstyle" I noticed that there was still a long bit of hair still on the left side of my head so we headed back to the store where I told him what was wrong and got him to fix it, yet all he did was grab a pair of scissors and snip it off I feel like even I could've done a better job with a bowl, scissors, and a mirror.
Went in to request a consultation of assessment evaluation and recommendation of my hair. Lady was a mature experienced confident person who gave me information that made me feel confident. Cut please. lol. Was very happy considering I am usually very wary. Thank you mam. Will be back again. Went from long straight damaged hair to short above shoulder cut beta looking hair and advice given of how to best take care of hair. and treat self. cheers
I took my daughter to the Queensgate branch to get a simple shoulder length cut. The hairdresser rushed through the cut and when I pointed out that it wasn't straight she said it was and ushered us to the counter to pay. Got home and had to cut the long straggly bits myself to try to even it up, but it is still very wonky. Paid $29 for something I could have done at home for free - a jagged, lopsided haircut with random long bits that got missed completely
Took our 1.5 year old son for his first haircut and the dude at Sharing Shed was so good, really quick and really friendly, our baby boy didn't like it one bit but Sharing Shed made it really easy. Will recommend to everyone looking for a kid's hairdresser. Before and after photos attached.
Took my son to Porirua branch today normally it's a man who does a awesome job unfortunately it wasn't today it was a older Indian lady who despite me asking and showing her what we wanted actually done it wrong and one side is different to the other side and she also cut my son's fore head and the back of his ear will not be going back to this place again sadly
Took my 7 year old here for a haircut and he had the loveliest hair dresser who seemed really good with kids. The hair dresser treated my son like any other client and was having a wonderful conversation with him and making him laugh. Employees like this are what make businesses thrive. Thank you for the awesome experience.
I went to the Porirua branch and had my hair cut by an Indian woman who was very pleasant but she unfortunately can't cut hair. She didn't listen to what I wanted and ended up shaving one half of my head to a number 1, and I dont have short hair! I'll never, ever in a million years go again.
Hairdresser did not listen to what I asked, I asked for a burst fade to grow into a mullet, yet the back was cut to the same length as the sides. I will not be able to grow a mullet as soon as I wanted now, and will not be returning.
Went to get a trim at the Porirua store and despite the lady being friendly, I feel like she was so distracted talking to my mum that she didn’t realise she cut my hair so short despite me clearly saying at the start that I did not want my hair cut too short. I understand she was trying to even out both sides but parts of my hair are still uneven and it still cost $40 for me to leave the salon looking like Willy Wonka.
