   Nice cool place to hangout to view sunset during summer season. Just have restaurant and garden to chill out. Wraf available there to take boats to Wellington city. Have toilets, changing rooms and parkings.

   Not the best beach in the harbour (this spot goes to Scorching Bay Beach), also the east side of the coast line in the harbour get affected by dirty water as first spot first after a rainy day by the river and, well... it seems to be in UK for how often it rains here in NZ... The beach itself is like Petone but smaller. A pro the place has compared to Petone: being a contained beach, bigger than others nearby and being next to and isolated place like Eastbourne, ended up making it a very good spot for activities. You can rent bikes or kayaks, enjoy the park and restaurant on the other side of the road (which also offer shelter from the constant wind) and, of course, enjoy the beach in the rare days of NZ summer.
