   These guys are legends! Apart from their day-to-day cheerfulness and help, they go beyond the call of duty. I had a car key battery that urgently needed replacing. When they weren’t even open they helped me out without hesitation. So grateful to have such a nice bunch in our local hardware store

   Robbie was oustandingly helpful after we broke a key in a lock just after arriving from Germany. Not only did they have a locksmith swing by the shop and help but he also fixed the locking cylinder with a new key and gave instructions how to install everything back! Thank you Robbie you are a lifesaver!

   What lovely people in the devonport hammer hardware. I bought a pedestal fan from there on Saturday tried to put it together told them on Sunday didn't know what I was doing. One kind gentleman English guy told to me to call them and said he would get someone to come to my house to put one together. Thank you Matt from hammer hardware for bringing me to my home a already made up one. This team know how to go out of there way for there customers and go the extra mile. Wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Absolutely wonderful service!! If I could rate 10 stars I would.

   Very poor advice from staff. I wanted "10 minute Gorilla Grip" adhesive which they didn't have. They only had 1hr and 2hr Gorilla Grip in stock. The staff advised me to buy Selleys Hold Up as being a fast acting glue suitable for attaching a shower panel to the JIB board behind. After 1 hour it had not set. I Then read the small print on the back of the tube. It states "Must not be disturbed until cured (at leaset 48 hours)". Bother. I will throw Selleys Hold Up out.

   Never get your key cut here. They didn’t return my original key and gave me two wrong keys instead. My partner and I wasted hours stuck outside. Terrible attention to detail.
