   Hello. I've been here a few times. Staff are great and friendly I just went recently wasn't the same as before. I had my hair dyed and trimmed. It was fine. But I felt the dye wasn't done properly it stayed on the side of my face and top of my forehead for 2days. I just got it done but came straight home and washed it again to try and get it off as I had work the next day but the more I scrubbed it I felt I was ripping my skin. I didn't go to work the next day cos it was showing really bad. Wasn't a good experience this time around... Sorry

   So I had made an appointment and when I spoke with person over phone roughly 200-220 for full colour cut blow dry. Little did I know after 4 hours of sitting on a chair it was going to cost me $290. I’m never coming back again,to tell me before we are about to finished it’s going to cost more becos they had to use a heap load of products is a joke x . I was really disappointed when I left the shop and was nearly in tears. I would prefer to drive an extra 15min to nyxs out in upperhutt where they make you feel beautiful . At nyxs They straighten your hair for free at Avalon you Have to pay and extra $20 which is ridiculous. The person I had was awesome but the price and telling me before I’m about to pay is not on!!

   I came to this salon confident that I would get a satisfactory result, and the truth is that the hairdresser who works in it completely cheated me in color and cutting and everything she said to me when I came to her to agree she did the opposite in the literal sense of the word I will never deal with this salon ever again She made me feel Resentful

   Incredibly amazing salon, would recommend as they have amazing staff and incredible prices! Always a good chat and leave with the best results. I would 100% recommend as they have been there for 2 decades as far as I know at the same location. That speaks for itself! Will always be my go to hairdresser!
