   I have had Mel cut and colour my hair a number of times now, and she always does an excellent job. She is really good at listening to my vague requirements and then translating that into a great cut. She is a true professional. Salon staff are friendly, and prices very reasonable. Parking is always easy, free and right out front. Have never had any issues with online booking. Thanks Mel and team!

   Don't use the online booking system to book your appointment or you will turn up for a haircut and not have an appointmen. Taking $6.50 to confirm your appointment online doesn't actually confirm your appointment nor does a calendar invite from Google Calendar confirm the appointment with a we will see you then message. Notification of cancellation was sent via email at 8.16am the same morning as the appointment.....a phone call probably would have been better. Sadly disappointed really needed a haircut.

   Found this place on a Grabone deal. Mel was great. Friendly and did a good job. Missed a small spot at the front hair line unfortunately, was a really little spot so not worth doing it all again. And unfortunately colour has washed a lot more Orange than I would’ve like but I think that’s my own hair products and hair quality that’s caused that. I’ve got another appointment on a couple weeks so will get it taken care of then I’m sure. Prices are reasonable and service is good.

   Cheryl at Heaney is a great hairdresser and a very lovely lady, I always feel relaxed and in good hands when I go to see her, which is great considering I have two children under 3 and this is my "Me" time place. I always walk out feeling great about my new look.
