   Unfortunately the fish batter is doughy and saturated with oil. The chips aren't great its the same oily taste. Even though I live locally, I drive further somewhere else to get fish n chips.

   The friendly (almost over friendly) singing and humming staff made the average food worth it. I recomnend the bacon/cheese balls. Wasnt impressed with the chips or home made battered meat patties. Quite expensive overall, but lovely people.

   Very disappointed. Well over cooked snapper, batter was thick and gluggy, oysters and mussels over done and covered in same batter. Dumplings were hard nuggets of pork and the pastry was thick and hard and overall over cooked or maybe just stale. I pulled all the batter off everything and still couldn’t eat it. Usually can eat anything, I mean how wrong can you go with fish and chips! First time there but won’t be going back.

   First time buying from here. Crabstick was great. Chips yuk. Steak and cheese burger was horrible. Can't even use proper cheese. Snapper was well and truly overcooked.The fish was absolutely dry like old leather and batter nearly burnt it was that dark. Wont be buying from again.

   Great Burgers. Great fish. Chips are good but not exceptional. Misty Valley has been my go-to chippie for over 15 years. It is not the closest but it has far and away the best fish in the area, and fabulous burgers. I rate their chips as good, but I know places that have better chips. However, the trade off for fish and burgers keeps me going back. My only criticism would be that they are a little light on the salt, but perhaps that is a health thing. I generally fix that up at home.

   If you are after that classic takeaway taste of chips, fish and burgers - this place definitely still has it! The burgers are big for its price range and is packed with homemade patties. The chips is always fresh as well. The service is great and the family who runs this gives the best service. Definitely a great local go to.
