   Both chips and fish were fried to perfection. This shop uses only vegetable oil for frying in effect which gives it the good crunch. It was quite a surprise to find them open on Boxing Day too, and its proximity to Titahi Bay Beach is an equation that one can't simply miss.

   I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember - in fact my earliest memory was waiting for my food here when I was somewhere around age 2-5. Anyway this is the best fish & chip shop I’ve ever been to. They’re very kind and often give me a little extra food than what I paid for. It’s always good quality and made quickly, and it’s not overpriced like the fish & chip shops in central Wellington. Unfortunately I’m moving away for postgrad uni, so I can’t come here anymore, but I’ve made sure to recommend this shop to everyone I know.

   A place you can call home, food ready to go . When you place an order over phone. Delicious cooked food. My favorite burger is the jambo , all dishes in golden bay are define. Cold drinks fizz & milk shakes goes down just right. My favourite fish & chip since growing up in the bay

   Friendly, little shop with great service. This is my 3rd time having fish in chips here and it will be my last. The chips have no substance to them they're kinda powdery in the middle, and i always get given too many the fish is portioned way to thin, so the fillets are not really substantial. Id actually be super happy to pay more money for a fatter fresh fillet of fish and decent chips.
