   I found this place on google after searching heavily. Its really difficult to find an Indian clothing instore in the region. We went in and had a great welcome. The shop keeper is really nice and was so helpful to find out what we really wanted. They had a great selection of wedding+occational+party+casual wears and stunning jewellery as well. Their prices are affordable and its really a hardwork to run a business of indian clothing in the region. The quality of the products are good and even we got a small discount at the end since we bought few things extra to what we really wanted after seeing the selection. I would definitely recommend this place to my known ones.

   Excellent as always for many many years now and excellent workmanship. Very disappointing to see some reviews given all Rachna's prices are comparable to Singapore and India. The prices are based on quality therefore u have to pay more for good quality gold embroidery. Also if you buy more than one item a discount is good customer relations. So not sure why there is so much disgruntlement Rachna is an old well reputed family business of many many years, true Wellingtonians are aware of this.

   I buy all my clothes and jewels from this shop only. I have travelled widely abroad and been to so many shops and i only trust and spend my money here at Rachnas. The owners are very well respected , very hardworking, helpful, kind and have good quality products. I definitely recommend this shop.

   Please be aware of this shop i do not recommend buying anything from here, i wouldn't even give it a 1 star. The owner does not follow market price he insteads makes his own price which is double and triple than what it should be and does not disclose the fact that he makes his own price. when we found out the market rate and questioned him on his price he became very rude and defensive and said " it is my shop and i can sell jewellery at whatever rate i like" . We all so gave him a chain to fix and told us he has to send it to Auckland to have it fixed when in fact he sent it within the Wellington area. I wouldn't trust this person from a bar of soap

   This shop is really lovely offering a large array of Indian dress clothes, saris, accessories, shoes, etc. I went here for a wedding dress and the shop owner was more then helpful. He spent a number of hours with me going through many different colours and variations of the style I was looking for. I was also very impressed that he took the time to speak to my partner on the phone to get more of an idea of what I was looking for. I did not realise that my partners family had already sent a dress from India with accessories. It was a bit of a surprise. Because of that, within two weeks I rang the owner and explained my situation to him. He stated that while I was not entitled to a refund (it was a $695 retailed dress that I purchased with a small head piece accessory for $410), he was more then happy to allow me a store credit but that I must come back to the store within a week and a half. I thought this was very fair. Due to unforeseen circumstances and having to leave the country shortly after this phone call, I was not able to return the dress until about 3 months later at which time the owner said I could extend my credit until the end of the year. I was shocked by his generosity and his understanding of my situation. I do recommend shopping at Rachna if you are looking for stylish and elegant clothing. I will definitely be back. Thank you!
