Was referred to this mechanic by Tyre Clinic for what they said was a loose wheel issue. Without even coming out to properly check the car, they said it needed a replacement and quoted me $462. I later took it to another place for a second opinion, and it turned out the issue was just a single loose bolt that took 30 seconds to tighten — completely fixed and free of charge. Really disappointing experience — I expected at least a proper check before being given such a costly quote.
Rocked up with a flat battery. Was dropped and collected at hospital while they hunted for a new one, sadly unavailable. Given a jump and sent off with a smile Super service and they didn't get a cent for it. These people will go the extra mile for you.
I had my car’s spark plugs and ignition coils replaced at kenepuru cars last month. The staff were very responsive and professional. Although I had to wait for an appointment and the repair took some time, I completely understand since it’s an old car and parts can be harder to source. What really stood out was their kindness—they even waived the $60 scan fee, which I really appreciated for students like me. The total came to about $750 for parts and labor, which felt fair. I’m very pleased with the service and will definitely be back for my WOF and routine maintenance. Thanks, team!

Dishonest. They say they have done things but haven't, then won't reimburse and make excuses. I gave up trying to sort it with the receptionist who talks for the boss. Wish I went elsewhere. Linden shop

I have changed my car servicing to Kenepuru Car Service Centre following the incredible experience of finally having an alternator fault fixed after two other garages had tried and failed. They actually listened to what I had to say instead of fobbing me off! I cannot rate them highly enough for their professionalism, attention to detail and their good old fashioned customer service. They really do care about me as a customer and that level of service is hard to find these days.
