   Great little place. I didn’t realise it was a bakery and cafe, you need to order up at the counter. Food was tasty, well presented and good portion sizes with a very reasonably priced menu. Coffee was okay. My Frenchy Toast was yummy and had the syrup was served on the side which was much appreciated. My mum’s omelette was tasty, too. This cafe was a good find.

   We have been coming to Hills for many years, sadly today is our last day as under new management the food is not as nice as the previous owners. Simple corn fritters tasted like pancakes with corn in them, I didn’t complete my meal. All the best to the new owners as they have big shoes to fill, Hills “was” a very popular cafe.

   Best breakfast i have had in awhile at a cafe. Im the kind of gal that loves baked beans, mushrooms and hash browns. The hash brown tower was excellent and worth every dollar especially for the portion size. Coffees were very good and the customer service is very friendly. Highly recommend you go and pay a visit to this cafe. Thanks for breakfast guys. We will definitely be coming back.

   Had lunch here today. Somehow our mains order fell through the cracks and wasn’t delivered after some 20 mins. The manager was extremely apologetic, didn’t charge us for the main and also offered complimentary coffees and a piece of cake. What a class act in treating your customers. Accidents do happen. No big deal. But his solicitous service in rectifying it is to be commended. We will certainly be back. Oh, and the food was delicious and the setting (sunny day sitting in beautiful garden) attractive and relaxing. Highly recommended.

   I came over for breakfast this Sunday morning with my daughter and was very rudely told to either sit outside in the cold or takeaway. Upon further enquiry, I was so rudely told 'cant you see table are reserved'. Could have been a little more polite especially with my daughter with me.

   Nice cafe, good food and a good selection. Been a few times now and it’s always been good so far. As someone else mentioned already though it does feel like you’re interrupting them to get served rather than being welcomed and keen to take your order. Not a major for me though if the food is good which it is.
